Can we trade places?
Healers keep regening me as I'm pulling, and stealing my aggro.

Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]
I DO use AOEs. However, if enemies are scattered when they aggro, as then tend to be, my AOE range isn't enough to get every enemy before the regen ticks, and they instantly go for the healer, resulting in me stopping, back tracking, and taking back aggro.
So, ya know.. healers.. if you could just NOT throw regen on me mid-pull while I'm at full HP, that would be great.
lol
Yeah, I had a WHM do this in a dungeon last week. I was trying to pull multiple groups like most healers seem to prefer, WHMs especially, but they had to make my job harder apparently. It made it somewhat difficult to maintain order since I had to keep pulling an enemy or 2 off of either the healer or a random dps. Though I guess that's better than not being healed at all like another WHM I encountered, also last week. They barely healed and barely did any dps. They were very skilled at taking AoEs to the face, however.
Hm, I'm trying to think if anyother games had this, but IIRC, Regens in EQ2 and EQ didn't set aggro on the one who casted it. It was something you set before a pull on the Tank/Puller, and they then went in. Could be some people came from those games and don't fully understand the aggro difference here.lol

I came from EQ2 and had to learn. It takes a few moments to explain not to do Regen before a pull instead of getting angry. /shrugs Also, as a Healer, if I do get aggro, I run it to the Tank. I have stuff I can use to keep myself from dying for those few moments. It helps the tank grab them easier instead of running back to you.
Me and Regen tends to be the fact I lean very heavily on Solace for healing and weaving. While I don't completely neglect regen, more often then not what I can handle with regen I seem to also be able to handle with Solace.
Oh, I didn't get angry. I didn't say a word because I know better. It's definitely one of those things people have to learn. It was just a mild annoyance and nothing more. And certainly nothing that necessarily warranted the tank (me) stopping in my tracks and slowing down the run just to explain something that I would consider minor in the grand scheme of things. If tanking has taught me anything, it is to be patient. Even when I would be in the right to vent my frustrations to the group. I also don't think it's a good idea to make the one person in your group angry that is quite literally holding your life in their hands. That can make an already mildly stressful situation into something so much worse.Hm, I'm trying to think if anyother games had this, but IIRC, Regens in EQ2 and EQ didn't set aggro on the one who casted it.
