Do you enjoy the summoner / scholar?

I'm just curious what the general feeling is towards this class. I have not healed yet but so far the dps send really fun on the summoner.

Scholar yes, but it's still not as optimal as it could be/used to be. SMN just no. I understand the rotation and how it's done, but just no.

SMN has way too many oGCD. Makes it feel clunky and sporadic. The egis are almost pointless. All they are there for is to give smn mobility with ruin iv.

SCH seems ok for the most part, except aether flow. Using it in combat only is fine, but we need more ways to interact with our aether flow stacks. Bringing back energy drain would be AMAZING.

I got SCH to 80 right after my main DRK, I really enjoy it, the new heals feel great and super fairy is nice. My only gripe is art of war, would be nice if it had something a bit more going for it but otherwise I'm enjoying the job. SMN I also really like feels a little more pet like now with us directly ordering the egi's

smn is .. ok but overall they might aswell just remove the egi pets and just have the class be about summoning stuff like demi bahamut etc.

Summoner.....used to play the class but the egi are soooo weak so I switched to rdm.

I enjoy scholar, wish it had energy drain and miasma 2 still but oh well
summoner, just no. ditch the egis and focus on the big primal summons

I've been playing SCH since HW. It's my class. But I'm in the middle with it. I love the healing it can pump out. And Recitation is the best thing. Excog or Lustrate with that and they're fully healed. But it's shields are a little lackluster. And it's the shield healer. I love the new Seraph. Party wide Divine Veil is a life saver.

DPS wise, I miss Bane and Art of War is meh. I do like that spin she does when casting Biolysis. And I'd rather take the time and put it on everything before running up and spamming Art of War.

Only played SMN long enough to do the role quests. And last time I played it was two years ago doing the same thing.

I don't play SMN but I really like SCH.

It feels like it might almost have TOO many healing abilities but all in all it feels pretty good. An additional DPS move would be cool (maybe something similar-ish to Assize? With a CD and additional effects). I dunno if Energy Drain is a good idea, but it would make dumping Aetherflow FEEL better and give us something to use it on when we don't need to heal that isn't Sacred Soil lol.
