SE: Can we get back skip cutscene in Main Scenarios?

Personally I am fine with sitting through it. I get anywhere from 15-16 million XP on Prae.

Same, I have actually had fun conversations with folks during the cutscenes of the MSQ roulette stuff. You can also make some pretty fun games out of it, one was pretending like it's the first time you've seen all this and over exaggerate your reactions. Doing this with a group is fun as heck. There was also that one time a party and I made a small cult revolving around Cid and his insatiable addiction to hot pockets.

It should be where if the game detects at the start that everyone has set to auto-skip the cut scenes and everyone has already seen it, then it skips. The only reason I would personally hesitate putting this in is because then resentment towards first timers would show up.

They'd have to remove the exp and tomestone bonus if they allow this. You get more because its a 45 minute minimum due to the cutscenes.

You all alright with getting the same amount as you get for Trials?

Currently in a MSQ roulette Prae run with people defending using the d/c exploit to skip cutscenes... For Fs sake... I and another person have been explaining why the change was made, why this is a problem, etc, and they're still trying to justify it! Incredible...

This. Yeah, I know, it's annoying listening to Gaius and Lahabrea drone on for the 500th time. But if you're queuing for msq roulette, that's the price you pay for inflated rewards. If you're going to complain about it, DON'T QUEUE IN. There are other ways to get tomes/exp if you really hate it. Nobody is compelling you to do EVERY roulette.

I think my biggest issue with that is you seriously get to watch cutscenes for exp. There's no challenge to be had. They really need to scale our item level to 55-60 for that like the AF gear we got when we originally did this. In addition close up those skips that serve only to kill off newbies.

They also need to close up the exploit that allows people to skip through the cutscenes. Coming out of the Gaius cutscene to him dead is a bit annoying. And this is by far not a slow connection or computer issue (they don't even make parts better than what I have for under 5 digits in cost).

Then you lose the bonus exp.

You're getting bonus exp because of the time you spend in there. They're not going to give you 15 million experience for less time than a trial. Which is what MSQ is without cutscenes. I wouldn't say no to it. But that's never going to happen.

Report them if you catch them doing it. It's literally one of the few things SE takes super seriously when it comes to repeat offenses.

And you're fine with the rewards being slashed appropriately, I assume? They increased the payout significantly to match the time invested in running it. Want to skip everything? Miniscule rewards, as deserved. Time invested=higher reward, less time=lower rewards. No, everyone complaining about the length of the dungeons is NOT entitled to huge payouts in exp/tombs. If someone is not willing to set some time aside for a single run, they do not deserve the spoils. Really, what is not clicking here for people? It's mind-numbingly simple.
