Honestly I feel you're just reaching for anything at this point. Very few are even seeing how any of his words can be quoted to imply that, unless taken out of context, which I fear you and others have done. And things taken out of context lose there full meaning and can be construed in a manner that supports a point when the original content was not meant to support it.

But if he means no, why not say no? He is quite able to do that with other stuff so why not here? Why give different opinions in different interviews?

It might be in japanese culture to not say outright no (but again he did that with other topics) but he is not just dealing with a JP audience. As long as a comment is in anyway not fully clear and can be read differently then its onto the one that did the statement to correct themselves. Otherwise people should be allowed to take their view on it. In the end he stated different things on different sites and interviews. Seemingly if everything is clear and we wont ever get them, then its kinda misleading to talk about it like that, right?

(Also since hearing that the JP players do have black lists outside the game which will make it bad for anyone ever getting there and that Yoshida keeps his life privat to shield his family from some fans..I really cringe a bit at those wanting to put the JP side on a pedestal. They have their own bad side too)

I can easily answer this for you in at least the why certain things are a clear No. Anything involving children in the Western Worlds is always a no. You never skirt the subject, you never leave that option open ever. It's a strong taboo, illegal, immoral etc. So "Youthful" "Young Looking" "Child Like" will always be responded to such a way with good reason.

The rest he has always left open though, not to flat out denying since there's always a chance it can happen or things could change. Most times there isn't a change, but it helps in a sense keep people interesting, a simple and effective tactic used in gaming in general.

But one should not claim rumors and opinions as fact, when they are not yet. That's my only stance. People putting their wishes and opinions as a factual base is a bad thing, everywhere in the world. It's just sad Zeylos is the one instigating and perpetuating it the most thinking his opinion as fact, when they shouldn't. "Taking 1.5 years for new races so others should be easier" Forgetting that their focus right now is progressing content through Shadowbringer first and foremost. Ofc they arent the same, I was just stating that I think that its likely that male hrotgar are so bulky cus most of male hrotgar players ara bara furry fans and male roes, and if they were designed to be more like ronso, they'd be more towards higlander than anything

Having me pinch the bridge of my nose. Yes, your friend isn't gay and that's fine. But there's also denying that there are plenty of folks who are gay, bara and into the furry fandom. It's not a bad thing. It's a genuine observation. I will state that there's probably a good portion of individuals who are playing that race because it ticks off those specific reasons. It fits their aesthetic or 'sexuality' etc. Again, nothing wrong like that. It's the same as men hiding on female Miqote/Viera/Au'ra because they want to look at an attractive female character at all hours and dress her up.

Your friend doesn't do this, good for him. Can't also hide from the fact that it does exist. Incidentally, I have friends who are on male Hrothgar because they're gay, bara and into the furry fandom. Good for them. I'm not into the furry fandom, or a homosexual man. But I can see the appeal from an outside perspective that Hrothgar does look pretty cool, and that anyone who enjoys such aesthetic should have a piece of that pie. I can also say that the race isn't claimed by an agenda. No, the only thing that can be pushed forward regarding it is the educated guess that Hrothgar is built for men, in its current genderlocked state. Why? Because it's locked to male-only, and it's a lot less likely to have a female playing on a male toon than it is for a male to. Male Hrothgar has zero feminity. Note, I'm female and I play on male characters only. It's rare. Again, does this make the race 'gay', no. Does it appeal to them? Yes. Does it appeal to furries? Yes. How many women are playing said race? About tree fiddy.

Female Viera, however, is built for both because women are more likely to play on a female toon and men are a lot more likely to switch to an attractive play bunny for their eye-candy. Shrug.

Isn't worth arguing about.

Though I will say, I would rather mViera use the male Elezen body, with the neck tamed and a muscle definer like midlander - I'd jump real quick. Until then male Elezen is acceptable, even if I have to find outfits that cull the neck. I'm not interested in them sharing a body type with mMiqote, or their faces for that matter. They're a little too round for me. I prefer a jawline I can use as a ruler.
