Can we get a dialog option to flirt with the Crystal Exarch? [mild spoiler]

It's pretty clear from the overall interactions that the Exarch is not flirting with, nor romantically interested in, the WoL/D. So if someone is reading that into the interactions, they're missing the point of the story. He has great admiration for the WoL/D, but admiration is not always romantic interest.

I've seen romance novels with far /far/ less. Not all indications of romantic interest need be overt like with Haurchefant and Aymeric - both of which also have their detractors even though in Japanese Haurchefant is so overt as to be smashing you in the face with his feelings. Honestly though does it really matter either way? If someone wants to interpret the Exarch as flirting or liking their character that's fine. It affects you in no way and affects the story in no way so as to be 'missing the point'.

At this point it feels like some people are just angry people aren't interpreting things they way they did - even though half the fun of stories /IS/ the multiple interpretations different people can come to and the discussions they bring to the table. Unless the writer herself comes out and says 'no' about the matter your interpretation is no more valid than another person's for such a grey area.

This is rich coming from someone who resorted to aggressively dismissing something another person said. Why not just go straight to the "U MAD BRO" comment? I don't see anyone being angry about it. I see people reading more into it than there is, which is perfectly fine for a story like this, and I see other people replying by pointing out that nothing of the sort is happening in the story.

I like Yshtola (as evidenced by my post early in this thread). I like to imagine my character and Yshtola have interest in one another. But even with the "Yes, Mother..." reply we get with her, I wouldn't start claiming that Yshtola is romantically interested in the WoL/D. Even though her facial expression could be read that way if one REALLY wanted to.

"It affects you in no way" is aggressive in its tone. You're basically telling people to shove off or that their opinion doesn't matter.

Not even remotely? Bluntness =/= Aggression. If you want to take it in such a way then fine, I can also reply you did the same but at this point this whole debacle is rather silly since tone is something that's almost impossible to interpret over text without a bazillion emojis.

I wonder if we'll actually have to deal with the whole "G'raha is immortal cus Crystal Tower" thing later in the story? Since he no longer has a reason to be immortal. And, whether I can flirt with him or not, I DO want him to ultimately be able to live out his (romantic and specific) dream of going on adventures with us. And he can't do that tied to the Tower, even if that tie extends to the Tower on the Source somehow. If we're gonna add G'raha to Team Scion, this is going to need to be addressed.

As I said, the tone of remark is aggressive by context.

You're right that bluntness =/= aggression. I would add that aggression=/=biting one's head off.

Enla would have to actually be aggressive in their tone, to be aggressive in their tone. Not simply use a phrase you have seen as aggressive in tone in other places. They were not being aggressive. Please stop being goofy, CazzT. Be like Elsa, Let it go~
