Pets haven't been affected by Maim and Mend since the game came out.
It's a feature.

That's incorrect. It's not due to a lack of MoM. It's because of how they scale with main stat. They still have MoM.
There are melee pet scaling for Titan and Ifrit, and caster pet scaling for Garuda and both Demi Summons, as well as Enkindle damage.
I for one, however, am very much supportive of pet potencies not being so obfuscated by factors not immediately apparent. What pets do really shouldn't be the smoke and mirrors that they are.

Yeah, you're right on that. My bad. I remembered it as being Garuda got it because it was magic and Ifrit didn't because it was physical. The potency scaling is still sort of like that. But, you know what you're talking about. You're the one who did all the numbers. That's incorrect. It's not due to a lack of MoM. It's because of how they scale with main stat. They still have MoM.

Anyway for Dyvid:
Physical damage has around a sub 0.5 multiplier and magic is a 0.8. Ifrit is physical and has the sub 0.5 but its Eruption has the 0.8 because it's magic. The original reason for the reduced damage on physical was auto tax. Which it doesn't have anymore. Which is really awkward for it still existing.
