Burnt out of the healer BS

I'm burnt out of the healer crap that's been going on since Yoshi-P announced the drastic changes to these classes (on top of no new healing class). I feel like it's a bad April Fool's joke that's gone on for far too long. I just want them to address the issue already. I want the classes to be "fixed" already and just put this fiasco behind us.

I've just been leveling some dps jobs because sch and ast(my 2 favs) are just not fun atm. Numbers wise they may be okay(sch is anyways) but FUN wise definitely not. There are so many whm flooding party finder that I don't really want to play it either. I really hope they make the necessary changes soon because my enjoyment of the expansion passed the really great msq is starting to wane.

I must say I agree. I'm playing a healer for my static, but I won't be doing it for pretty much anything else - it's just no fun any more.

Shadowbringers was a great way to displace me out of a main job. Formerly an AST main but I dabbled in SCH a lot. Leveled GNB to 80 via story, SCH to 80 (mostly for roulette bonus), and leveling DPS jobs like DNC and RDM. Are any of them my main? I don't know because I don't feel like I even have a main anymore.

I'm certainly not going to main AST after it got gutted.

As another AST main, I share your pain. I was absolutely gutted with what they did with the job and just didn't have fun with it anymore.

there will probably be some changes (but not major ones) when Savage drops. i wouldn't hold your breath for anything else until 5.1.

What are players like me supposed to do SE? Craft and spend the rest of eternity in Doman Mahjong??

If the don’t make some decent changes I will be leaving for a game where I don’t feel like a gimp hp battery. I was leveling ast when the changes hit and tbh the cards feel gutted and that they have lost their identity. The class feels super weak and was not enjoyable at all. I main a sch and while I can heal the mechanics feel very clunky in some areas and they killled Selene who I used the most. Then they gutted all healer mitigation and all but a few dps abilities. The fairy micromanagement and dps spread were the reason I choose scholar it seemed challenging and it was, it felt great. Now the only real challenge I have found is long pulls with under geared tanks. Which equates to blowing all my ogcds and spamming gcd heals. Cause that’s fun........ But even that will go away as me and others learn the encounters better and raise our Ilvl So the next challenge should be staying awake while pressing 2,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1. Heal, dance heal, 2,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1 repeat.

I agree :-) Scholar has become boring to play I want to preoccupied with more keys doing something, heal more, dot/dps just make me busy. I have gone to SMN and it is crazy busy and rotations are interesting are insane. I levelled WHM/SCH to 80 and WHM just isn't my play style and SCH is ok but just feels clunky and not enough to do.
