What previously featured FF job are you most interested in seeing next?

Its kinda weird seeing how many people want Necromancer in, much less as a healer when its only iteration in FF has only one healing ability for itself (Drain Touch). Then again others feel the same way about DRK as a tank so each their own.

Chemist is the only one I'm all that interested in currently. I don't know much about Puppetmaster outside of hating using Puppet-type fighters in fighting games so I'm biased against there.

And Beastmaster is tempered by my expectation of it being a Limited Job if they give it more than 3 pets, though if it has three for some reason I expect it to be similar to the three you could get in FFX-2.

Chemist for sure. Also I'd love to see something like the Oracle from Final Fantasy Tactics, but I'm not sure a job that specializes in debuffs and status ailments would really work in this game since it would be over powered and broken in raid scenarios, or weak and lacking identity.

A lot of other classic jobs could be argued to have been hybridized into other jobs. Astro has a lot of Time Mage aspects to it, White Mage has a Geomancer background, and Warrior has a Berserker element to it. Also puppetmaster is a job I always scratch my head at when I see everyone requesting it as I've never seen a job like that in any mainline Final Fantasy, and I've played all of them except 11.

Like EQ bard? No dev is going to touch that one. They're too scared.

I wouldn't mind seeing some mechanic to twist our songs though. We kinda do at 80, but not really.

It's a tie for me between Chemist and Geomancer. If I had to pick one, I'd go with the latter.

But I wouldn't be opposed to a new interpretation of those classes. Temp Summons or something.

Beastmaster as a Limited job could easily be basically (totally not) pokemon.

Time mage is my favorite mage class and i'm hopefull that they will drop the "but ast is supposed to be time mage!" idea one day lol

I'd love to see beastmaster, though considering it will fall under "limited job" shenanigans makes me sad cause like blue mage it will kiss the dust once the content is done
