Unless the new Oracle changes things that drastically,Not always, Y'shtola was a part of the Alexander storyline yet also still played a part in the 3.X MSQ. The bigger worry to have here is that Thancred and Urianger being part of the raid might mean it'll turn out they can't return to the Source. Though it could also mean that a way for the Scions to go between Source and First will be found just as the WoL/D can.
He makes a point of saying that Urianger is also preparing her for that time by passing on as much knowledge as he can.
Its more that, since the raid has to be doable for players who complete all of SHB including the 5.X series, Thancred and Urianger have to be available for it. Of course the devs could just have it be "this part will always have happened before they return to the Source".
He never ticked me off, although Alisaie was certainly fuming...
Both times he's lied to us, it was for clear and understandable reasons. Regarding the Warriors of Darkness, he was very carefully playing both sides and is particularly trying to deceive Elidibus who could be watching at any moment to ensure his loyalty is genuine - so he can't tell us or warn us in any way. Everything has to be kept close and secret, putting all the pieces in place without making it clear what he's doing until they all snap together at once.
And working with the Exarch... he's clearly anguished about having to keep those secrets, but admitting the truth would be breaking the Exarch's trust and putting the fate of the worlds at risk.
The situation here seems different though. It's more of an "I'm not sure about this information and need to observe more before I can announce my suspicions with certainty".
Oh yeah, I did notice that and think "ah, they're setting up for not having to relate quest progression here to anything else."
That's usually the case for any optional content - and specifically already the case for Urianger who might still be at the Waking Sands for 2.X content at the same time he's physically unconscious at the Rising Stones post-4.4.Its more that, since the raid has to be doable for players who complete all of SHB including the 5.X series, Thancred and Urianger have to be available for it. Of course the devs could just have it be "this part will always have happened before they return to the Source".
Meanwhile Cid could be in at least three places at once if you're very bad at starting raids and not finishing them.
You may not have felt anger but that doesnt mean that no one else can. Even though he had all the very best intentions in the world, it still doesnt change the fact that lies are lies whether it's done by omitting something or even changing something. It's still a betrayal of trust. Especially, seeing as how you're straight up given the option to flat out tell Urianger "No more lies" which he swears that he doesnt have anymore and says he wont do it again. So granted we may know it it still doesnt make it right. Yes he only has a theory but even then in the end it will spell more trouble.
Edit: Sorry if I'm being a bit too forceful just anything to do with lies and broken trust hits really close to home for me... I wont get into it. So again sorry!

Well I did not really like the music of the last two fights but otherwise this is probably my favorite eight man raid since ARR. It has fanservice but in a good way.
About the story
Urianger continues to be the one with all the solutions..and somehow summoning primals now is the only possibility.I really hope that Ryne is going to be fine afterwards and I do wonder what role the other girl will play...Is she from the 13th shard and was there to stop its flood of Darkness but could not do it?
It is nice btw to see instant changes to the land after we beat the primal. Even though I wonder why the crystal is always exactly at the camp side and not where they were at the fight..
I also say: Our WoL really seems to have a messed up memories if those are the results of it..Titan really looks nothing like his source counterpart.
The thing I did not like: Why is Urianger again keeping secrets from us? We have been through quite a bit so he should know that we would not overreact to it..he also already kept things about the Lightwardens and their effects on us a secret..he really should learn from this and be more open. Ryne seems to be quite mature for her young age too.
For me it was not the part about the exarch that annoyed me, it was him not telling us that this could be dangerous. He knows from the plan that we will take in the light and if it was not for Ysthola who after seeing it life went to us to talk about this, we might not have even known that we are putting ourselves in such danger. Of course we would have still done it because we are heros..but he did take away our own choice in this, when he did not tell us the truth as soon as he found out about this. (Which might be after Ysthola mentions it but it was only her that went to us)
And working with the Exarch... he's clearly anguished about having to keep those secrets, but admitting the truth would be breaking the Exarch's trust and putting the fate of the worlds at risk.
The situation here seems different though. It's more of an "I'm not sure about this information and need to observe more before I can announce my suspicions with certainty".
(But I at least felt great that we too then kept Ardbert our secret)
Now in this story it might just be a theory right now but why not share it? Why not make sure that those two that take the most risk (Ryne and the WoL) also know everything? And its not like the WoL is stupid, so maybe he/she could have even given more insight on this too or keep a closer eye to a certain person just in case.

A huge THANK YOU!!!! For FINALLY selling the Meteor Survivor Polo on the store. AND a huge thanks to my friend who bought it for me while he was at Fan Fest!!! YES I finally have my POLO!!!
I suspect he only started this theory after he discovered the "Oracle of Darkness" exists which only happened right after we left with Ryne.
If he tells us now, it gives Ryne and WoL a reason to rush to the 2nd part of the raid before 5.2 which would not be very useful for developers to release 2nd part of raid before 5.2.
I can only guess we will learn this theory once we begin 2nd part of the raid in 5.2 so we are aware of the dangers before beginning the first stages of the 2nd part of Omega.
They always refer to events like these as memories the WoL has had. That's part of the reason why Urianger can exist in his old garb at the Waking Sands for the EX versions of ARR primals but also still be with you on the first. Never have to worry about a plothole in that regard.
It hurt when he said this because I only just then realized that Ryne probably won't stick around after ShB. I really like her.Unless the new Oracle changes things that drastically,

He makes a point of saying that Urianger is also preparing her for that time by passing on as much knowledge as he can.
