They always refer to events like these as memories the WoL has had. That's part of the reason why Urianger can exist in his old garb at the Waking Sands for the EX versions of ARR primals but also still be with you on the first. Never have to worry about a plothole in that regard.

Unless of course a more permenant gateway between the Source and the First is opened allowing travel between the 2 allowing Ryne to travel to the source and back as she wishes expecially if Grah Tia on the source is woken up and take's up control there. The only reason the initial attempt didn't work so well is simply because they lacked the ability to target the destination hence ending up in the wrong time with the moving of the crystal tower after the 8th calamity in the original timeline. It's also a likely logical outcome since this stop's Nordvrant simply becoming irrelevant at the end of Shadowbringers. There's also the possibility that at some point we'll return to the 13th proper to repair it especially since more NPC's who originate there have begun to appear in the story, possibly being after we deal with Garlemald altogether. We've already been to the 13th once before aka Cloud of Darkness being given a proper beating. Also the fact that Eden looks like a tool that can repair aetheric imbalances would make it an ideal tool for a trip round the 13th burninating all the voidsent.

I'm stuck on the fact that Urianger is keeping secrets again... didnt he learn last time not to tick off the WoL with lieing/omitting certain truths. Especially ones that can be harmful...

He never ticked me off, although Alisaie was certainly fuming...

Both times he's lied to us, it was for clear and understandable reasons. Regarding the Warriors of Darkness, he was very carefully playing both sides and is particularly trying to deceive Elidibus who could be watching at any moment to ensure his loyalty is genuine - so he can't tell us or warn us in any way. Everything has to be kept close and secret, putting all the pieces in place without making it clear what he's doing until they all snap together at once.

And working with the Exarch... he's clearly anguished about having to keep those secrets, but admitting the truth would be breaking the Exarch's trust and putting the fate of the worlds at risk.

The situation here seems different though. It's more of an "I'm not sure about this information and need to observe more before I can announce my suspicions with certainty".

Urianger warned us not to tell anyone, even the other Scions about this. "Because I don't want to tell anyone until we know more", he says, but it's probably just an excuse to let Thancred, Ryne, and Urianger be in both MSQ and sidequest with no conflict.

That's usually the case for any optional content - and specifically already the case for Urianger who might still be at the Waking Sands for 2.X content at the same time he's physically unconscious at the Rising Stones post-4.4.

Meanwhile Cid could be in at least three places at once if you're very bad at starting raids and not finishing them.
