Why is the Eden striking gear palette-swapped healer gear?

I'm cool with this if next time the gear is designed with striking in mind and healers get a recolour of that instead of another white dress.

Not that there's anything wrong with white dresses. Just I think we're lacking in other healer glamour options

They've been switching up which classes get the "unique" gear models for a while now, and I'm glad for it. I'm usually really disappointed in the aiming and caster sets but these are great. Casters have been getting healer palette swaps for so long, it's time they changed things up now and then. If you don't like the set you got this time around - glamour over it and move on, and hopefully the next set that comes along is more to your liking.

The striking gear is so utterly out of place I have a hard time believing this isn't a bug that will be fixed. I hate it. It flies in the face of melee DPS class identity so hard, I don't even know where to begin.

I am so, so hoping for more outfits that aren't white OR robes for healers. I actually kinda don't mind this current one, but good heck we need some variety.

I am glad the caster gear isn't the recolor with healer gear this time... one less set where I can be disappointed that casters have the same set in a way better color. ://

Casters should have gotten them, not monks and samurai.

Nope nope nope, I would have thrown up in my mouth a bit if casters were stuck with those. I'm glad us casters weren't handed the short end of the stick for one in terms of gear. I'm so sick of robes and dresses.

I think the logic there is that if they keep producing gear that will be attractive only to a much more niche audience, even if only loosely along gender lines, with nearly the same frequency as far more broadly (and perhaps deeply) attractive design concepts, there's likely a quota or other form of bias at work.

in me opinion, it could not mind what it was the healer armor recolour if it wasn't because the set does not fit to the job, i mean, tink a monk fighting whit it, they could break it in seconds!(dragon kick anyone?, six side star anyone?, monk kick stuff, and that dress get in the way A LOT), they move so much what does not fit them such fine clothes, as OP said, is more fitting for aiming(especially dancer)

This is probably the worst designed set for Healers since Genji, and even that was tolerable because at least it had armor so it was a different aesthetic, but still gaudy and ugly. This is just back to dresses, gowns and shades of white everywhere. Can we please bring back whoever designed the High Allagan sets or the Alexandrian Casting/Scouting set? Almost every healer outfit has been disappointing, even the Alphascape gear was disappointing.

Having 3 melee sets is pointless if they are just going to copy paste. Reduce it to one melee set, 5 sets in total, and make them different from one another.
