Why is the Eden striking gear palette-swapped healer gear?

Honestly I like the healer one, though I’m not a fan of the whole boob-wings thing it has going on.

That it said, it is a very strange decision that they’d have Ranged share gear models with Maiming, but Striking shares gear models with Healers. Surely it’d have made more sense for Striking to get the gear model Ranged currently has, so it’s sharing the model with another melee at least

Welcome to the pain casters have been dealing with since ARR. That said not every gear set is for everyone, and I'm not too surprised by the poor design... I mean just look at Deltascape and Gordias. First tier definitely tends to be the worst out of the three with the second tier being the best.

It's pretty common for sets to be shared like this, it's just them going outside the norm. Usually it's caster that shares with healing.

IMO for Omega Alphascape had the best raid set in SB. Well maybe not for the Aiming set but I love the tanking/striking/healing sets.

Alphascape definitely had some good sets. It just... I don't know it looked really really odd on male characters. For me the Tanking set from Sigmascape was better.

This is nothing new. Lot of times the Healer and Caster gear are the same except for color changes.

Yeah, but striking jobs and casters aren't even remotely the same aesthetic-wise. Casters should have gotten them, not monks and samurai.

This is partly why I stopped maining healers in this game. So much of the class/role glamour for healer is some form of feminine robe or gown.

There isn't anything like the Resto Shaman from WoW or Necromancer Healer from Elder Scrolls Online or Trooper healers from SWTOR.

The healers here all have a light based spell aesthetic with overtly feminine attire. I understand that this is how most healers in the FF series are, but I wish they'd have at least one option that wasn't like the others =/

The funny thing is, even people who play female characters are sick of the overly feminine white gowns.

Yup picked up tone gear today and surprise surprise it was another huge robe. One day we will get caster and helper sets with a bit of imagination and not just a robe. Maybe th give us a few options too? They did for Shisui but then got cold feet and went straight back to robes again for rest of sb lol

I'm glad they used unusual role pairings for model sharing this time around. The casters have enough mage dresses from sharing models with healers for six years.
