This poor DNC in my E3 run. Boss was almost dead. LB3 was up and no one was using it, so she went for it. The middle was starting to go out. Me and the other healer had the smart idea to rescue her out of animation lock. Problem was, we were on opposite sides of the board. She pinballed and went flying into the abyss.
I had a great E4 group this morning. We wiped like every time a new mechanic came up. But we were making progress. And everyone was chatty and not getting tilted. There was this one RDM who kept dying. Me and the other healer kept picking him up. After a wipe, he just left. Was quickly replaced, by another RDM. And we cleared that run. I said she carried us. It was her very first time in there. I love these kinds of groups.
Bardam's Mettle... oh Bardam's Mettle. Two runs on Dancer. First one was buttery smooth and double pulls galore. The second run however?
PLD in all 260 gear just yeets off to the moon and pulls to the wall with the stone enemies, doesnt get aggro on anything and we all die. Okay he made a (big) mistake, surely he'd learn from it? Nope. We respawn and he yeets off again doing the exact same thing and we all wipe a second time. Surely you'd think it'd end there. Third time he yeets off again and... we wipe for a third time. He instantly leaves. Replacement tank wasn't amazing but he at least held aggro (most) of the time. Replacement tank also kind of... autoran into the boss room door straight past the 3 enemies that cast tornado. I was tanking them for a good 6-7 seconds before he stopped autorunning into the door.
Maybe this is why I primarily play healers and tanks because I can at least cover two jobs some people evidently cannot in higher end dungeons.
Now I've got Frank Sinatra in my head singing, "Yeet me to the moon, let me play with no aggro..."Bardam's Mettle... oh Bardam's Mettle. Two runs on Dancer. First one was buttery smooth and double pulls galore. The second run however?

Eden 1. One of the tanks died and refused every raise. They then sat out the loot rolls and made us all wait. Sigh.
Spent 3 hours and 20 minutes doing all 4 Eden instances trying to get loot and had great fun doing it. No group abandon, no people leaving. A few wipes, as expected, but we learned quickly and many runs were done in one try. I'm hoping all my runs are as good as today for the subsequent weeks. Though, the 4th fight is really quite fun, so might not mind to run it a few more times for loot.
Running some of the dailies with friends, got WoD for Alliance. Mostly fine, one of the other tanks wanted aggro off me during Mainyu so I let em have it. They end up dieing due to Doom'd healers I think but still I end up taking it back and tanking the rest of the raid.
We wiped at 10% on Cloud though because of people ignoring mechanics at the end. My group woulda been fine but friend used the heal lb before we knew we had 10 stacks on the boss. Last one standing was me o/
Got to use tank lb just to see it next run...then died because people ignored mechanics again and it wore off right before it all exploded XD.
Well, I attempted SCH in Holminster (with friends), and uh... I am a very bad SCH lol. I may just level the Trusts with this job because unleashing it on Duty Finder would be very poor on my part lol.
So I swapped to leveling PLD, and doing Holminster (again) I get a WHM that was using Cure I on me and only Cure II when they got a Freecure proc. Sometimes they just stood around doing nothing to the point where I was Clemencying myself. The DRG wasn’t AOEing, so things were dying so slow I was running out of CDs. However, when I asked them to AOE, they actually started doing so.
However... their weapon was probably the bigger problem: i290 Antiquated. I made a mention of it (politely), and they actually replied with “Oh crap, I completely forgot to upgrade my weapon because I was just too excited to get to ShB”. So I at least gave them credit for that.

Got Dusk Vigil when doing Duty Roulette with my brother. I'm playing as GNB and he's WHM. It's been 4 years since I last played that dungeon so I didn't remember the mechanic. First and second boss I was doing okay but in the final boss I kept making mistakes by not hiding behind the pile of rubble. Fortunately my brother was there to cover my mistakes with the heals. In the end the 2 dps said "Great Run"! and "Amazing Team!" but I suspect they said that sarcastically lmao.![]()

The best time to do something like this is during the first days.Spent 3 hours and 20 minutes doing all 4 Eden instances trying to get loot and had great fun doing it. It's the golden time where it's OK to be new to the content and people are willing to learn it.
Later down the road people will start getting annoyed when not everyone already know it by then and things will get back to normal.
