    5.0 materia for PLD.

While leveling to 80 I mostly stacked my gear with with all of those tenacity materia I had left over from SB. It seemed to do okay as far as just filling in while leveling. Now that I'm 80 I'm wondering what the best materia is to socket. In SB it was crit and DH. Is that still the thing to do? Or has tenacity actually become useful now?

Thanks in advance for any info.

    Per The Balance site:

Comfy Speed Tier > DH > Det => Crit > SKS > Ten

Why not Tenacity Stack? - Tenacity is an efficient stat for what it is, both increasing damage and mitigation at a nominal rate. Tenacity is currently regarded as a progression stat, in a similar vein to Vitality melds of old - helpful on occasion and can save your life, but not enough to warrant continuous, future use. The gain of Tenacity is not in reducing healer load. The gain is in the “insurance policy.” Tenacity could be useful. It could save your life. But you won’t see tangible benefit from Tenacity until that moment where you almost die.
That being said, if you like Tenacity, then by all means, meld it. You will lose a bit of damage. but there are some pulls where you’ll survive.

I really only used tenacity while leveling because I had over 200 of the VI materia from Eureka lock boxes. Tenacity seemed like the only materia I got out of those. I figured at 80 tanks would be stacking something else and I've put off buying any materia until I had an idea what to get. So thanks for giving me some info to work with.
