No. I like the Deltascape Samurai armor sets. Once I get another class to 70, I'll start spending them to get a new Samurai-styled gear set.

Then buy the sets when you get the tokens and stick the armor in your glamour dresser. Again, there is no reason to Hoard currencies. If youre just getting them to glamour once then never look at again, thats on you. Dump em and rerun the content for another bolt at a future date. It's not hard to get these things.

If you choose to hoard your currencies and are having inventory issues, thats is 100% your fault because youre refusing to manage your own inventory. Part of any MMO is gonna be inventory management. That has always been the case. IMO, just stop being a packrat with every currency.

If you answered yes to at least 1 of these questions, then you cannot work for SE's development department. You are being too organize and logical. Too much sense is not welcome here.

But those are not currencies, but exchange objects. This would be like putting cigarettes in your wallet just because you know someone who would give you apples for those cigarettes. And only apples and nothing else.

It annoys me as well. I've had no issues with inventory space in all of my years of playing, even after levelling all crafters and gatherers, and all battle jobs to max level. The only "issue", and I use that term loosely, is that I have a retainer that's full of furniture from my old house, because I can't buy a new one yet (new server). I have regular clean outs every month or so and throw away/sell anything I can easily replace, which is usually anything that isn't gathered from a timed node. I threw away 4 O12S pages, because even though I want something for glamour, I know I'm not doing it any time soon and an extra 4 kills isn't much in the grand scheme of things.

I've even been telling my new FC members, as in brand new players, to not keep every low level material they've been getting and just chuck at an npc because they're all available from various shops.

They give us more and more space over time, yet people still place the blame of their own flaws on the devs, and it gets old real fast. "Oh no another 8 currencies to take up room", only if you let them.

Seriously, all that needs to be done to fix this issue is have every boss drop 4 of the exact same token.

You then can acquire one token per boss and spend hit however you want to. Max of 4 tokens per week.

Want to boost your ilvl? Work on ACC's first. Want better stats? Get a chest piece the first week and legs the next.

The total gear acquisition rate WOULD STAY EXACTLY THE SAME but you wouldn't have to have 8 currencies to do it.

Of course, last boss would drop a weapon token as well as the 4 standard tokens.

this is really a non-issue inventory wise. SE expects you to spend the currency on equipment and boom, inventory cleared.

And the same-token-each-boss-but-1-per-week only works for the short term. the weekly lockout forces players to roughly evenly queue up for each fight to get their gear in order to maximize their loot drops. But once the weekly lockout is removed, people will naturally only farm the easiest/quickest of the raid bosses to get old gear. But what about new players just entering the raid a tad late? they still need people running the other 3 raid bosses for that tier if they want to catch-up. There is a very SE reason why the loot is dispersed the way it is and its fine. heck, we even get 8 items to drop instead of 4 now, thats a huge win.

Currency ought to go in the currency tab.

Either that or lets put gil in 5000x stacks in the inventory and tomestones in 99x stacks. You know like someone suggested, so you spend it as you get it.

What the heck are you filling your bag/saddlebag/retainer space with that you can't hold on to 5 or 6 currency items? Surely there's things you don't have to have on you at all times or things in your retainer's inventory that's next to useless for you to keep.
