So is anyone else concerned about the speech that Elidibus spouted in the Post-Credits thing? The whole "Beat them with Warriors of Light" thing? I am slightly worried we are going to have a repeat of Dragonsong War's "Warriors of Darkness" Arc and that we will end up doing this whole thing on repeat. We fight 'Warriors of Light' from another Shard, then we go to that Shard and clean up their mess.

The only other ways I could see this going is that he means to warp/mind-control/Ascian Possess the bodies of the Scions who are left unconscious in The Source. Which.. I mean would be cool but also would be ever so slightly predictable.

There are exactly 4 worlds left in decent shape (of the 14: 7 have been Rejoined, 1 is the Source, 1 is the First, 1 is the Void, leaving 4).
I don't see us on repeat. I see us fighting our selves from the other shards, perhaps as this xpac's trials, or even as the last tier of Eden.

Mildly worrisome but he does not know what happened between us and Emet-Selch so I question how much he's about to get wrong...of more concern is him deciding to embrace chaos by telling Zenos 'the truth'.

Not gonna lie, Zenos is super annoying at this point.

I can definitely agree there. I find him a bit less interesting than he was in Stormblood.

It's one of those, "Okay, he's told us pretty much exactly what he plans...but how's he going to pull that off?" kind of things, so I'm just standing by waiting to see what it is. It's a cool concept, if he can find anyone willing to fall for it. But how? He's going to have to go as someone with credibility and then get suckers to believe it and then get them to attack us without being willing to hear our side. Should be some interesting characters, at least, if he can manage.

Considering that his plan seems to be "keep us on the First" the WoL v. WoD thing seens to be just a distraction while he does whatever else he has to do.

I think that there will be something in the works that prevents it from working. Something triggering with the Echo. Our WoL has inconvenient flashbacks all the time, perhaps there's another who will get to the Source and go, "Wait, this is stupid."

I'm really hoping he doesn't seriously end up being the main antagonist again. I was expecting him to just linger around and be a thorn in our sides at best, but things certainly don't look to be going that way.

As far as Elidibus goes, I can't help wonder whether or not he's aware of the nature of our soul, because if he is, he could be very well be trying to send other WoLs after us with the intent of making us "complete" for the sake of furthering his goals, but if not, he might just be shooting himself in the foot.

Elidibus seems to be

close to the surviving Hydaelyn's chosen of the Thirteeth Unukalhai and Cylva, even if both probably betrayed him... not sure for Unukalhai yet, having them becoming his disciple.

They are technically Warriors of Light, even if they failed (just not THE Warrior of Light).

I think it's them that we will have to fight, or convince to join us instead of him.
