I am so freaking bored of Shadowbringer's story

Tbh i think the posts were for the skip potion and not Shb, but i might be wrong .

I'm sure it was about the potion, indeed.
But people do defend all story in FFXIV very firmly.
And since it has been a heated topic lately. Maybe anything regarding people skipping story, especially new story which doesn't have any reason to be skipped due to being old or something, could have some reactions.

Back on topic:

Since OP mentioned the first hours were amazing, I'm sure that once OP gets past all the "fillers" the story will get better again.
But yeah, there's probably been alot of small hints and bits that connects the story whole gone missing due to all the skipping.
But to each their own.
Some people just aren't as deeply engrosed into story as other might be.


I have to post here since my daily limit is up.

Others can skip story as much as they want. Everyone can decide that for themself.

But skipping story and then complaining that the story is boring...really?

I'm pretty sure OP found the story getting more and more boring before starting to skip it.
And I'm sure OP is reading small parts now and then atleast, to see if things do get better again.

They can not like it. It's fine. Too bad for them but for most of us the story was/is wonderful. Seems even game companies have been given the story/xpac great reviews.

I suppose we should all just agree with the OP to make her/him happy. Personally I've enjoyed all the expansions but this one is by far the best in my opinion. Oh I suppose if we disagree we'll be eating the OP alive.

And the story is good. Better than any expansion sofar imo.
Really excited to see what the continuation about the Ascians will bring us.
This is something I've been waiting for ever since I started FFXIV back in early 2.x somewhere.
