We need another healer, based off of suspicions it will end up being geomancer (which saddens me because I would have preferred that for a DPS but Astro job quests lol). I'd prefer though if they gave us Chemist over that one though (I dislike that geomancer has already been indicated as eastern conjury), even if I would rather it be called Alchemist but can't due to crafting job lol. Or if they gave us Songstress and made that a healer somehow (I mean we already have dancer they can come in pairs, right).
I also wouldn't have minded Rune Knight (Rune Knight/Mystic Knight, were always a favorite of mine) but I doubt we will get a form of that due to Red Mage. Blue Mage would have been a good job if it was real. Or if they gave us a job like mascot from X-2 (or even tweaked Ranger in a way) but than again those would be pet jobs and Yoshi hates those, so those two would never happen.
I wouldn't mind a job featuring whips as a weapon. Their an "iconic" weapon in their own right (Rydia/Quistus) and would be a unique weapon that no job currently is wielding.
Chemist for healer.
Gambler for ranged DPS.
Viking for closed DPS (dual weilding hand axes).
Geomancer for magical DPS.
Rune/Runic Knight for tank.

I don't care if it's a physical healer, a caster healer. I just want a mofudgin' healer.

Healer: Geomancer, oriental shaman-like with a strong elemental theme, uses bells.
Ranged DPS: Ranger/Hunter, lots of sharpshooting abilities, uses crossbows.
Melee Dps (maiming gear): Anything with a hammer.
I want BLU next.
An actual hybrid. Yes, complete with a rework of matchmaking.
Puppetmaster. I'd love to see Puppetmaster now looking at the changes they made to summoner as a class that has far more control over what their pet does without having to worry about it randomly biting the dust from some random attack that just wrecked it. Plus having different puppets for different situations just seems fun.
Rune Fencer/Knight as a tank will always be my sole request.
I don't much care how it plays, just so long as it's a tank.
Lore wise I'd also like them to be noble knights since we don't really have that in game at the minute. PLD are more glory fighters than knights (I mean really, whens the last time you saw a PLD NPC in this game doing anything noble, or for that matter whens the last time you saw a PLD outside of their own quest line, period). And DRK is, well, dark. I mean, I loved the 3.0 quest to protect that girl, but 90% of all other DRK's did not. And like wise I didn't like the 2.0 and 4.0 stories, yet most other DRK's did. So that gives you a bit of an idea on what I like and don't like. Also, loved the 5.0 tank role quest so add that in there too.
But yeah, Rune Fencer/Knight, Tank, noble knight lore, that is all.
