mt gulg pug, tank decide to leave without saying anything after 2nd boss fight. granted the fight was slow because both dps are below average, they keep getting hit from boss mechanic, and 1 of the dps keep dying so i need to keep res him, but if tank can stomach it until 2nd boss then finish your job geez.

all tank do is doing normal tanking stuff, i the healer should be the one screaming here, and yet tank just leave just like that zzzzzz, feel bad so i stick with them, lucky another tank appear a minute later and everything went well.

Bit of a story today....Amaurot, Me on DNC of course, got DRK/BLM/WHM. We start, DRK gets out of the cutscene (yay, bonus!) and does single pulls up to the first boss, which is fine by me - we just mow 'em down and keep going. Boss goes off without a hitch, and then...DRK goes for single pulls again, but the BLM is having none of it and goes and grabs more for him. This continues until the second boss - every pull. Nobody says anything about it, the DRK picks 'em up and we continue mowing 'em down. After the second boss, the DRK seems to have had enough of letting the BLM pull and starts doing wall pulls. I did die to AoEs on the second of these (oops). Healer saw it coming and got me back up. We get to the final boss, DRK mentions it's his first time and asks if there's anything he should know...someone says they believe in him, so he pulls. Boss goes down without a hitch. I consider saying something to the tank and/or BLM about pulling for the tank, but they leave before I get the chance. I commed the healer...before checking my contact list. I wish I hadn't - the healer and BLM were both from the same server, and were probably both bored with small pulls. To be honest, small pulls are boring for a Dancer, too, but if the tank isn't comfortable with big ones I'm not gonna pull for him (been there, done that, not fun).

If the tank sees this, I wish I'd commed YOU for putting up with those 2 jerks.

As for the DPS and Healer....If you're reading this, next time please ask for bigger pulls. Even if you're on PS4 w/o a Keyboard. There are tanks out there that don't like having people pull for them...and a few of them will do things like shirk the puller and/or turn off tank stance for doing it (I've never actually done that, but I have asked folks not to pull for me...multiple times).

You can actually be hit by a couple and its not the end of the world... as I swear some DPS/Tanks seem to make a game out of how many vulnerability stacks they can get on them and still have the healer keep them up. As I know I have been able to keep a few with around 5 or so stacks up for a good while in the Shadowbringers dungeons, much more than that and the standard unavoidable aoe's begin to just flat out one shot them depending on the boss.

Player skill does factor into it a bit, and good ol' Bardam's Mettle is a good example for this. In particular the pull right before Mechanics the Boss. As I just had fun there tonight. I know that pull is do-able, and I have healed it before and it is often a rough one if do the full pull. I had suspected something was up when the 65 Dark's HP was ping ponging like crazy, and thought maybe it was due to gear at first. However after we wipe to that pull twice, I ask him if he is still gearing up as he has felt squishy all dungeon, he said he had all 65 gear. I just asked him to double check his gear, and make sure he was using his cooldowns at that point, and kind of kept an eye out to see if any tank buffs were popping up on him over the rest of the dungeon. I didn't really see any that showed up at all. With the 2 dps being returners/first timers, and me being rusty on some of the mechanics for the bosses, the rest of the dungeon was interesting to say the least. Would have loved to done some dps here and there through out the the dungeon, but when the tank's hp bar is putting a yo-yo to shame its hard to do anything else but heal.

i can relate, being a healer( 438 ) im being yelled at day in day out about healers not doing enough healing or not dpsing enough when you bust all your cd on a tank and still manage to run out of mana and afflatus cd....

Last time i healed today a dps from famfrit that camped aoe and ran out of range from heals: dude you should use your afflatus more and cast more heals on the tank while you dps.... the tank is 72 and clearly is trying to improve his skill.... yeah healers are too blame as always....

also a side note to all the dpser complaining about tank dieing non stop at around .08 second of the heal being casted... do we look like we are to blame if 90% of the tanking community dumped all their 400 gear with materias and fully optimised gears for stuff that offer 3k more hp but drop your survival lenght by 80%. its not rare for a healer to to see a 78k hp tank getting his class handed to him because hes got sweet nothing in survival.
You can basicly stretch your 70 gears up to around 75 76 ( weapon not included for aggro generation reasons). if you get new gears fine.. SHOVE IN MATERIA TO INCREASE YOUR LIFE SPAN!!!!! some of us are throwing 23 and up to 45k, with crit, heals out there and for gods sake some tanks are even able to make us burn each and every cool downs we have even thin air and lucid dreaming with assize teamed to recover mana as well as afflatus and they still die, ON TRASH PULLS, because we ran out of mana trying to keep them alive!!!! I think thats the worst part. they freaking die and we get blamed cuz they are so darn brittle they make wet toilet paper look like its made out of carbon titanium alloy!!!!

Ty to all healers I've met in random dungeons. To those who continue healing me if I play BLM and are at "healers adjust". It's Larry's fault >-<. I giggle each time I got hit by something stupid
Or if you keep raising me if I'm playing Dragoon. I just do my job if I keep dying xD... well I'm not that bad, but bad timing with my jumps is my special ability

Yesterday I've met a tank newbie at lvl 73. I guess he used jump potion and it wasn't the best bet I think. He tryed to use his cd's after I asked him to do. But yeah, I think all those new buttons are a little too much at once. You'll get better, just keep tryin'. He was so cute as he tried to sneak around the boss to grab that crown

No. Healer should get good and actually use the tools available to them. All healers can do big pulls.

if i ever see you in a dungeon dont ask yourself why i let you die ok? acting like a dick is not a way to let players improve their skills and class knowledge. you want to heal that badly? main a healer next time!

That's what I just do nowadays, single pulls takes waaaay too long in the ShB dungeons, I honestly don't feel like catering to low dps and subpar healers anymore, so I just wait for the kick so I don't have to have an abandonment penalty.

iam so glad there is language setting on Duty option so i can set to JP only. seems like majority of you NA really love doing big pulls and having a policy anything not to your liking = kick/abandon. most JP (or asia i guess) out of 10 DG run only twice the tank doing big pulls, even that one out of two is fail because healer cant keep up so we just doing the usual pull and nobody say anything.

well okay they said something but in JP and most of the words that i get from google translate is something like "dont mind"

Edit: Btw, why is it always the people with the cutest characters lol?
Obviously most people playing cute characters are cool, but every time that someone is rude to me they always play cute characters with cutsey mogs o_o.

Just wanted to do an aside and share in this thought. I don't quite know the why, but it's true that 9/10 in my experiences, it's the people with the cute shorts / moogle slippers / bunny ears / wedding dress / etc that explode in fits of rage.
