Enable Both Sex's Unsheathed Weapon Poses

Now is the time! They've already said they're not adding anymore races to the game, and it'll be awhile until we get new jobs now with the expansion having just launched.

I'm not talking about existing races. Combining viera/hrothgar into one, that's seven races they need to add animations for. Seven races times what, seventeen jobs now? That's 119 new animations to make in total to give both gendered animations to all races for every job.

I'm not misunderstanding you either, just saying the work load for this request isn't going to get any lighter than it is RIGHT NOW. I'm not going to pretend to know, as I don't work on games, but from my layman's perspective...the animations already exist, and to me it would just seem they might need to make small tweaks here and there for the different frames of each race's opposite sex. Each sex of each race already has the same weapon pose animation, so without knowing any better, in my mind it would seem they made the animation once for each sex, and applied it to each race's frame, and tweaked minor issues from there, if there even were any. /shrug ...I don't know, I don't do this kind of work, wish I did, it would be a heck of a lot more fun than what I have to do every day...but regardless of the work involved, it doesn't change the fact that I want to see this happen. It may be relatively simple, it may be hard as hell, but I'm still suggesting this.

Something like this kind of got me wishing for a system similar to Aion Online's "Motion Card" system where you could equip different cards to your character that changed their fighting, standing, running and sitting animation.

I think that would be a pretty cool feature where we could mix and match the emotes and actions from different races.

That would be nice. My biggest worry about the whole "Make race/gender-based clothing and emotes for everyone" is that it takes away from any sense of individuality. This seems like it would encourage it as it has players mix and match emotes to better suit their own style. Plus it seems good for rp.

New poses where you can have the weapons out while sitting. Itd be amazing if I could have a sit emote where as a summoner or sch, the book is out and your reading it, or a sit animation where you are maintaining your samurai sword or if your a BLM, you have a rod/staff out and just conjuring little magic lazily out of boredom. Stuff like that. :>

I certainly wouldn't mind it.
Like, the thought of "you must be this gender to stand this way" just seems silly to me. Same with hairstyles but eh... doubt that'll ever change.
