    The only issue I have the DNC is with AoEs. Standard and Technical step are so bright, flashy and yellow that I tend to miss AoEs.

    But eh.

    Think this may be because for AoEs dancers need to be in melee range so they have more chance to get hit?

    I didn't find them squishy in fact I was afraid they would nerf due to massive damage. Seem to kill most things same level fairly fast. The tutorial helped me though, that first quest. When I first tried it I was just button mashing then learned the combos and I think it is pretty survivable. Same or more than bard.

    Dancer is so mobile and bursty I don't know how anyone can die on this class, especially on overworld mobs.

    Most overworld mobs would get 80% HP nuked by standard finish alone when I was doing story. No idea how you can be having problems.

    I think my only death in solo play was when I pulled an entire fate of mobs and them stood in their AoE effects... It was a “why did I just do that?” moment because I basically had to stop paying attention to achieve it.

    In groups they have all been due to a group wide wipe, a boss turning to cleave me, or the two mechanics in Alliance raids that I historically have always sucked at...

    In other words I am not seeing this issue at all. I can attribute every single death my toon has had to a mistake I made save for 1 or 2 that I blame on a tank spinning a boss. So that is 100% player skill and 0% the job.

    I've personally never had any issue with DNC on my alt. I don't think I've died unless there was a party wide wipe.

    Why even if you are healer? I mean, I play scholar, so my fairy already heals me. I use a fully level 20 rank chocobo, and I always have it on Dps stance :P It would be a little wasted on it being used to heal, and healers need the chocobo attacking to make up for their own lack of damage
