    Its always the Tanks that complain if they don´t get there "special Snowflake" treatment.
    That term is way old. Back in the days of World of Warcraft where a group needed to wait for 3-5 stacks of sunder to make sure the tank had good aggro. I'm sure its probably even older than that. Back then if you pulled even accidentally there was a good chance the tank wasn't going to be able to pick it up, not before you died. And in combat raises were not a thing. (Druids were the only ones with a combat raise, but it has a 40 minute CD).

    I don't know if its an age thing, but I image a lot of these attitudes come from that time. If you pulled ahead of the tank you were an a**hole and the rest of the group would let you die. Even though the days of working to gain aggro are gone, many people, myself included, still extend this consideration to the tank.

    I don’t see the big deal of DPS pulling bosses in dungeons. The only time I let them die is if, and especially at the beginning of new content, when some dps would pull trash packs because I didn’t want to go wall to wall. Other then that it’s not worth getting angry over imo.

    people are just rushing as much as they can in roulettes and dungeons in general, if you solo queue or play a lot with "randoms" in general just expect the worst and hope for the best. since dungeon mobs/bosses dont kill dps/heals in 1-2 hits and are easy in general, people can allow themselves to pull for tanks and know they can survive/tank for a while, and since tanks grab aggro in a hit, people tend to not care anymore who pulls. i dislike this situation, but it is what it is. just get used to it because this behavior will stay as long as the devs continue to promote it by not letting mobs 1-2 hit dps/heal and kill enmity to make everything easier.

    As a tank I am fine those pull most of the time
    What I couldn’t stand are case that someone still in cutscene when he make the pull or there are ppl still mile away. Or if the dps pull it but start running like a chicken, it make everything harder

    Tanks can pop their healing cooldown and generate so much global threat they can practically AFK after that with the threat changes.

    Threat is a joke now. Any behavior that might have resulted in a wipe before due to the chaos going out can be neatly fixed by just spamming your aoe.

    This whole "I'm not tanking cause you pulled" mentality is silly. Maybe type in chat asking them not to pull for you but honestly, it takes one GCD to establish aggro. All you're doing is making it harder on the healer who has to heal someone else or raise the DPS. And giving said DPS weakness only slows the run down more.

    Is it kind of a dick move to pull for the tank? Sure. But if they aren't doing it to troll you, then it isn't that big a deal imo.

    I absolutely hate dps pulling for me when I tank. Yes you can grab agro back easy enough but that's not the only consideration here.
    The big question is can you survive the extra mobs the dps brings in? What if you know from experience the answer is no?
    Also what if you delay the pull a few seconds to let one cool down to become ready?
    Some here are claiming that the tank isn't doing its job when he doesn't grab the mob back. Well the pulling dps isn't doing its job either since where is it written that it's dps job to pull?

    Nowadays most of the people at dungeons just want a fast run. They are either spamming a dungeon to level or farm some currency. They do not enjoy unnecessary waste of time. Therefore, countdown for dungeon boss is something that people will not enjoy.

    Furthermore, there is also the buffs that melee dps have to keep between pulls. They do not want a lot of downtime caused by tanks that do not pull fast enough. It is something complete normal that they just rush the next mob or boss and bring them to the tanker.

    Of course, if you are new to a dungeon and feel insecure to do this kind of rush you can always communicate with your party members. I am sure they will understand and accept that the run will be a little bit longer than usual because someone in the party is learning. There is no problem with that. I think that this issue is far more understandable than DPSers that did not use their enmity tools in the past when it was needed. That was really annoying.

    I don't like pulling but as a DNC with Standard Step 2 stepped and ticking down sometimes I can't wait for you to CD for the boss. If it falls off I lose the damage AND the buff. Not good.
