regarding his wife:

Do not believe so but they have a son, half breeds are notoriously rare to happen, nigh non existent so its safe to assume that she is a Hrothgar as no information regarding the son was adopted/found and no mention of them being different races.

Will say what a way to go though she went out fighting for the future of her home knowing she leave behind her husband near the end the pain she must have felt >_<

Like, I'm sure they would have animal heads and body fur. Even with how mismatched the Roes and Scale people genders are they still have the core features shared (Scale girls have scales and femroe are the tallest/ beefiest with the same nose). And female Ronso match the dudes in animal features. So them having the same level of beast features seems like a given.

I assumed so because lore-wise that area is explained to be predominantly Ronso and he said he had a biological son with her. I don't think there is inter-species children in the canon. Her name also aligned with Ronso-type names.

This is how I understood it as well. Every clue suggests she was a Hrothgar.

Did anyone notice there is a mention of a female Ronso miner in the First during MSQ? They obviously exist within the lore, why exclude them?
I really hope they add them down the line, I would play one in a heart beat. I just hope they don't attach hairstyles to the face as they did with the males. If they do, they should make it "free" at the aesthetician to change faces/hairstyles without using a fantasia.

We all know they exist, and the lore maintains that they exist.
The thing is, and its been explained, that they just didn't have the time or resources to have them made at this time. They just barely finished up the Males so they could introduce 2 new playable races.m With the very strong possibility of doing the other genders later down the line.

Personally I think its fine if the hair is attached to the head. I just hope to see more veried options. Which they can of course expand on through patches.

They used the Viera lore to justify their lack of resources in making Male Viera. They used their lack of resources to justify the lore of no female Ronso/Hrothgar in the game. They will likely pussy foot around the question using the "if we have the resources we may attempt to add the other gender", using the hopeful but non-committal answer, and any savvy developer would say. I still think there's a good chance of it though. Just may be a while.

I believe he means he wants them to be more like the female Charr from Guild Wars 2. Ever seen one? They are a little more lithe than the males, but still look like one of the species. Not just a different colored human female variant that some games do.

Thing about the Charr are that they are NOT human ... they are horned cat monsters with 4 ears. they are much more animal than "man" and as such they don't have human shapes. So you can just make a slightly smaller and sleeker male with more female looking head and bam, you got both genders (Assuming you made the males first).

Hrothgar are not that though, take away the head/ tail/ fur and you have an attractive heroic buff man body that defaults as hunched over. If you make a female version it will have to follow the gender differences of a human body ... which means its gonna be very different to the Charr gender differences. Body wise I'd expect them have an attractive classic heroic female shape just like the males have an attractive classic male shape. I wouldn't expect them to be as big as Femroe seeing as the males aren't as big as Roebros. Being the biggest and buffest seems like it's the Roe's thing. I'd expect them to mirror the narrower waist in comparison to Femroe as the males sport a much more inverted Triangle shape than the meat wall Roebros. If we're using body shapes in game as an example I'd expect them to be more like scaled up female highlanders as a base as I think that's more so how female ronso look.

So as far as I can tell the beastly features of the Hrothgar come down to animal faces, animations, tail and fur. You can make female that looks as beastly as the males without them being ripped or male shaped. You can also make them look more female by using animal heads that look more female like (Like fox or cheetah). Every Hrothgar head has a great range of looks so I don't really like using words like "fierce" ... you can make them look like sweethearts or war demons.

All in all I'd love to one day see how SE would bring Females to life. Like I said, regardless of how big or short of w/e they look I'd expect them to have the same beast features. Be it animal heads or fur or tails.
