Sounds like we need sliders for all races!

In all seriousness though I would love to see more diversity in body types in this game. More choices for making your character "yours"? Excellent.

But the customization options should fit the lore of the race.

To me the Viera men would not be small and child like because that doesn't fit the lore for the version of the Viera we got. We got the Viera that already existed in Ivalice. They're fierce warriors and hunters who devote themselves to the forest. Males, once they reach a certain age, are taken into the forest by the other rare males and raised to be completely self reliant. They live in the tree tops and attack anything that gets too close to the village. That, to me, would suggest a more strongly built (though not broad) character.

If you want an androgynous race, hope for or request for one to be included. The Genomes of Final Fantasy IX come to mind there.

ESO's character creator was pretty amazing with this. It was still within the limits but it was pretty good. You could have a male who had a soft looking face, or one that was very rugged and strong. Full bodied or thin, etc. I really miss it.

ESO also went one step ahead and has zero gender restrictions on glamour. Want to be a male wearing makeup, pigtails and a long dress? Go for it. Want to be an Altmer that has black hair? No, because in lore they supposedly don't have naturally have black hair. Want to be a Redguard who looks adorable and soft looking? Sure, but you're not going to have the option to have the same skin tone as a white Nord - why? Lore restrictions.

Since you're bringing up ESO, I just remembered male bosmers (or wood elves) are shorter than female bosmers. Their lore sort of reminds me of viera lore in some ways.

Mhm, they're a touch smaller I think? Though I also recall that the 'strength' of the Bosmer is always a female. She is the strongest Bosmer to exist and takes on the role of bodyguard. She is pure martial prowess. While the 'spirit' of the Bosmer is always male, a healer and diplomat. These two always end up entwined in marriage and become 'one' - a perfect team. It's pretty cool. I sadly couldn't get into Bosmer so much in ESO due to their height.

I think that'd be a more valuable addition as a customisation option as it's something genuinely new. Not a necessity, of course, but since some posters are keen to bring inspiration from ESO I think they'll be in firm agreement.
