I hope you remember this is not FFXI-2.

Because this game with characters that are exactly like that game becoming a sequel to a well loved game is unthinkable!

I hope you don't make this a quest driven game like SW:TOR

Because lore rich questing is so much worse then mindless grinding!

I hope you don't make this a totally instanced game like SW:TOR.

Because camping and competing endlessly instead is oh-so lovely!

I hope you learn that poor drop raids and content-less raids don't make an end game.

What would be end-game then for them to learn, teacher?

I hope you find a way to make leveling grinds fun, and eliminate end game grinds as content.

I hope that you take a nod from the 1st generation and bring in more sandbox elements.

The entire game world is already a sandbox - or did I miss all of the rides when I went exploring?

I hope you take a nod from the 2nd generation and bring in more epic quest lines that can't be completed solo or in 10 minutes, but also don't need to be completed 100 times, just once.

I have to agree here...repeating leves is the same as grinding, only in shorter spurts... hehe.

I hope you take a nod from the 3rd generation and give us ultra responsive combat, a smart interface built for pc users not limited by a game pad.

Again, I agree - but has ANY cross-platform MMORPG yet done this?

I hope you seriously evaluate all the mistakes you made with this game. I mean really take a look at what it is, and have a willingness to continue to INNOVATE, while not simultaneously STAGNATING.

They did - and put Yoshi in charge, did ya hear?

Finally, I hope you will take your time. If your new FFXIV 2.0 is late that is okay. Just build a good game. One that we can all remember. One that people will fondly look back on years later like FFXI, yet one that doesn't copy or mirror FFXI. A new experience, something unlike any other MMO on the market today. Something that moves the bar forward.

Wow, must be nice to only have to sit there and dream up things you want and get them without actually giving anyone any clues as to how to go about giving you what you want! /dreamyeyes
