    Weapons to the loot list is everything that is really needed, I don't get why SE is wasting their time on those BS nuts/totems that drop with the same felt droprate as weapons and are as untradable.

    As for YoshiP's concern that players might ninja-loot it, it's invalid since there is a filter that clearly states who got what on their loot list.

    They COULD just remove the weapon drops and instead give out totems at 100% so you can get the one weapon you want after this many kills so that it's your choice to farm the rest of the totems if you want the other weapons.

    1 totem per run is fine for me. More than 20 runs, 2 totems and 0 weapon drops.

    My ls is averaging more then 1 totem/charm per run atm, very close to keftenks %s

    We did 7 runs of ifrit last night and completed 1 full weapon with totems, moogle drop rate on nut charms is the same so that would take us ~2 days of runs to get a weapon we want 100%.

    I cannot understand anyone wanting 100% drop rate but less per fight.... that will actually lower the overall number of then you obtain making it harder to get enough.

    Higher drop rate will just reduce the time the content is valid, which I think would be very detrimental with the state of the current game. The items are already not that hard to get... do not want the game to just hand out weapons to everyone who enters the fight.

    As others said though... just make the weapons lotable by all. That would be the best solution. System worked perfectly in XI and almost every other mmo with a global loot pool, no idea why they are changing it here.

    I'm pretty sure they already have plans to put the items into the loot list instead of the inventory they just haven't done it yet.

    I don't see what's keeping them from doing it. It was suggested back when Moogle wasn't out yet, afaik argumenting that DH drops went to loot list already, why not Ifrit's? And what do they do instead? Right.

    So to me it looks like they're doing it on purpose.

    Source? Even if they are, I don't understand why they're spending time and resources trying to make totems/charms work, weapons to loot list would be all that's needed.

    Either one is fine with me I guess. IDC as long as they up the drop rate on the totems.

    I don't really get the second choice though...

    Does that mean we can't pass them or what? If it is 100% how can the rate be reduced we can obtain at one time? o.O

    I want to earn something that is not DM every fight. A kupo nut, or a weapon, one of the two. Other MMO's always reward you for your time. Rather it be a weapon you want from the boss, or simply points towards gear, you always got "something" for your time.

    Leave all drop rates as is, just make everything go to the loot list... Let us worry about ninja looters and drop disbursement.

    100% drop for totems/nuts would be ok as long as it was not 100% 1 person in party got one. Which is what I fear they mean. 100% should be 100% everyone in pt gets one.

    Personally I would like everyone in pt has 50% chance of totem/nut and then additionally current drop rate of weapons to loot list..
