Then get friends to do it with you? FC mates? Acquaintainces? It's a 4 man thing, you must have atleast 3 people on your firends list right?

And that exact mindset is what causes my anxiety when dealing with strangers in this game. No one has patience for even the slightest mistake. Not "hey I didn't bother looking at a guide" mistake, but "oops I had an FPS drop and didn't dodge an attack and I died" kind of mistakes.
Also "get better ones"? Like friends are just people you choose based on skill? That's a really messed up way to approach friends. Like if you can't profit off them they're not worth anything? Hello? Please get help.
I would have ended this with "Grow Thicker Skin"
Cause you'll always run into jerks, and if you let them and your anxiety stop you from having fun, then you wont enjoy the later content sadly :/
While hes being blunt, the simple fact of the matter is people like me grinded for that mount and subsequent stuff. We put our effort in, improved, and were rewarded for our efforts. Short of having an actual disability that limits your motor skills or cognitive skills (and Im not joking, Im being 100% here, as in real deal impairments that youve seen a certified physician for with clinical treatments), it is not beyond you to learn and improve. If your mentality is "It's to hard to do, therefore I should just petition it to be easier for me" , then frankly the issue lies with you.And that exact mindset is what causes my anxiety when dealing with strangers in this game. No one has patience for even the slightest mistake. Not "hey I didn't bother looking at a guide" mistake, but "oops I had an FPS drop and didn't dodge an attack and I died" kind of mistakes.
It's being an elitist if someone snubbed you by saying "Gawsh, you pleb. Git gud scrub, it's easy. Even a baby could do this." It's not elitism by saying "Hey, work on improving. It's not so hard that you cant do it without practice and some effort." This is the point being made. If youre having time, practice and get better. If you dont want to spend the time doing that, then no, you shouldnt have easier access to the rewards. The simple fact is it at times sounds like youre making excuses for being unable to complete the content. It's to hard. My friends arent good enough. The PF is full of people who have 0 tolerance for even slight mistakes or drops.
It's a bunch of "It's everyone elses problem, not mine." PF isnt that bad. Everyone has room to improve. Time nad effort has to be applied. It's as simple as that. Youll get more out of this game if you bite the bullet and accept that if you are having trouble with content, it's likely gonna be on you to improve so you can clear it. Cause as you get better, youll end up teaming with better people, and accomplish more. It can be a pain at times, but thats how it works.

Dude I'm anxious with PF too, way more so than most of my friends and I'll do anything I can to avoid using it. I'l be sitting with 7/8 friends for an extreme primal and will frantically ask everyone I know for half an hour before resigning to putting the last slot up in PF. I've convinced myself that there's a ton of people who are just waiting to rip my throat out because I haven't perfectly memorized the fight yet after two runs. The reality is less true, but that's my own problem that I need to overcome each time it comes up.And that exact mindset is what causes my anxiety when dealing with strangers in this game. This is a case where it might be worth throwing up a PF for it and avoiding all terms like 'farm' - it may take some time but with any luck you'd eventually fill up with some people who are willing to go with the flow for Rath. I've put in my 50 runs, I know that screwups and mistakes will happen, as do a lot of people. It's a simple enough fight mechanically that people shouldn't need discord or other voice-chats unless they want it. You dodge, you stack.
There's quite a few people with an approachable mindset. Thing is, they're not putting up PFs for the same anxious reasons. If you really want the mount, with the current system gonna have to grit your teeth and either try to find likeminded players or bear with the ones who will disband at a single screwup. There's enough of a lack of people doing it that I imagine quite a few would be happy to simply see a PF for Rath, honestly. Some of them may become acquaintances, some maybe friends. Maybe not.
Your other option is, well, hunker down and train the friends you do have. Most people will eventually learn if given the time to, but Rath is particularly unfriendly for people who aren't used to immediately deciding where to move based on what direction a mob just turned, and it does have a functional enrage with a standard comp. I get that it's hard with anxiety. I know you're rolling those dice on who you're gonna end up with. But in the end, that's one of your best options available rather than hoping developers go back and let you slaughter it.
Yeah. That's entirely messed up there. But it's what I've come to expect from the people on the forums. And that exact mindset is what causes my anxiety when dealing with strangers in this game. With that said, I ran EX 7 times with a chill PF party. I was shaking so bad by the end of it I had to drop out. I only caused the wipe the first time when we were still figuring out how to play with one another and everyone was really cool with it. I didn't wipe us again but I hated every moment of every single one of those 7 runs. It was so exhausting, mentally, as I have the same anxiety you have. (Well, not the -same-, I suppose, but very similar!)
The content should be able to be unsynced. I've never played any Monster Hunter games for more than five minutes but it's my understanding that you can run into any monster at cap level (?), in stupidly over leveled gear, and curb stomp them. Same deal here. It's not wrecking the contribution Capcom made if you can do it in their game, though I can see why they might think that.
I'm entirely with OP and I can't accurately describe how I feel about the whole "get better friends" thing, because the forum has strict rules about cussing. But uh. Enjoy being elitist and lonely, I guess? (Saying "get better friends" is NOT being blunt. It's being the worst. End of story.)
Id make a little sentence of PF saying something like "Rathy Farm/practice party, please don't get mad after a wipe or two", it works pretty well, and you tend to attract others with that sentence who are in the same boatAnd that exact mindset is what causes my anxiety when dealing with strangers in this game. Off-topic, but I can happily say this cross-over event made me a pretty big fan of Monster Hunter. So.. mission accomplished, I guess!
