Please stop standing outside Sacred Soil or running out if it when rescued. It is annoying. I placed it right in a perfect spot for you after you stopped pulling the mobs. Stop moving out of it unless you hate being kept alive.

Did Holminster Switch a while ago as the tank. I was pulling 2 groups at a time and it was tough goings. I mean I had to use shield-bash to stun them and using clemency on myself to keep from buying the farm since all my cooldowns were used up. I've done 2 groups before with 0 issue so I wonder what's going on... and the WHM is just spamming cure. Not cure II, cure. The only time they use cure II is when it's procced. To confirm this I watched closely on the next pull. No regen, no divine benison, no tetragrammation, no assize (because of course, that actually does damage too!)... no bloody afflatus solace! I've just learned to live with healers who won't DPS but having to make my own suffer because I can't be healed through two packs is too much. I ask them to use the rest of their toolkit - if not to do damage, then to at least keep me healed. The response? "I'm saving those for emergencies."

I've been doing a lot of HoH lately, and i've seen this trend.

Me: *pokes my head into a room for 1/4 of a second to see if the beacon of passage is in there*
The tank that has materialized out of the aether behind me: "IT'S LEEEEROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOY JJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJEEEEEEENNNNNNNNKIIIIINSSSSSSS"
That same tank, having almost died: "Oh there's nothing in here"

Learn to be better. There is absolutely no reason for ranged DPS to be out of aoe heal range. You were in the wrong.

I actually was within AoE heal range, but he kept moving further away from me, like to stand behind the tank. Didn't make sense.

I hope you learn to stand close to your healer someday. I wouldn’t have kicked you but I would’ve let you die a few times.

I was popping manasshield and trying to stay close, but he kept moving, then would rescue me into an AoE and run away and not heal me.

Just to verify. Were you too far away for AoE heals?

Only when he forced me to be by running away.

The whole point being, he initiated a vote kick and it succeeded after we wiped cuz he wouldn't heal me, was trying very hard not to, so he neglected to heal the other dps, himself and the tank. Sooo... wipe. I'm not really sure what his whole idea was.

Just got out of a Castrum run where both tanks had tank stance on during the ENTIRE dungeon.
Aggro was bouncing between both tanks who weren't standing with each other when holding one mob, and when one tank would come through for a mass pull and use their AoE attack, the other would wait until the other tank had run off and use their AoE attack so the mobs would immediately stop in their tracks.
As a healer going through the dungeon having two tanks on opposite sides of the map taking a considerable amount of damage, it was doing my head in.

When I decide to pipe up and say, "Can I just ask, which one of you is the off tank?"
I get a response from one of the tanks "You can ask that."
Followed by another response from the same tank who says (spelling errors and all),
"Jokes aside, this isn't Bahamut Extreme. It's Castrum. You cast a Medica or Aquildelum (sic) or... Card Toss... and you go back to your Sedoku (sic) puzzle. Doesn't hurt to have us both in Tank Stance; makes it easier to snag something that got missed"
Oh and the kicker? This tank was a mentor who already had every tank to 70 and Paladin to 80. Such a nice thing to hear from a mentor in one of the final dungeons of 2.0. Casting the healers aside because we don't have to do anything.
So I took his advice. I gave him one Adlo after that. Luckily I was in discord with the other healer, who was an Astro, who gave him, you guessed it... one card. We then focused healing on the tank who didn't make the comment listed above.

Just need to ask though... Is this the new meta now for 8 mans? Both tanks with tank stance on getting huge pulls on opposite sides of the map and expecting both healers to be in 2 places at once?
I understand what he means. 100% I get it... but as a tank, with the enmity changes for 5.0, it would be virtually impossible to not gain aggro and hold it above the DPS. You could tickle the mob with a feather and you'd hold its aggro for 20 years. If both tanks are in tank stance and not on the same page, you just have an aggro war.

No. This is not the new meta for 8 mans. You were in lv 50 content. You're bad for complaining. Castrum? Why even bother... just spam medica and relax. If they die in castrum because you can't heal them because "hate is bouncing around" lol.. I don't even.
But also one of them should've dropped tank stance. They're also stupid.

SMN now also has a ground effect for tanks to pull mobs out of.

But yeah seriously... tanks, put mobs in the graphics. Party, stand in pretty healer things. Oh and if you want to benefit from my Technical Step? Don't be in Narnia.

this remind me on some pug i met, this one AST use macro for his bubble

I got 2 stories for our lovely daily dose of whatever DF brings us.

First one was great did the lvl 71 dungeon and we smashed it in 11 mins with me on SCH/DRK/DNC/DRG everyone was like good job and got 2 comms for healing/DPSing on AoEs n such.

2nd one was...bad I was healing a Baelsar's wall with (me) SCH/GNB/BRD/DRG we all say hello and the tank darts off and grabs everything to the first door, I'm healing as he grabs the adds but doesn't have tank stance I say yo turn on your tank stance please, silence. Threats everywhere and I'm keeping everyone alive somehow, BRD dies, then I die, then the DRG, then the tank since he's not AoEing or doing anything meaningful sigh take two.

The group tells him tank stance on and we do the same pull, tank pops Superbolide right off the gate at 90% when he gets all the mobs on him and is using AoE (thank the Twelve), after Superbolide GNB is at 80% HP, and proceeds to stand in AoEs and not pop a single CD, DRG isn't AoEing, only the poor BRD is AoEing. I go through Dissapation and everything, tank goes "??", pop a CD dude then the tank says "guess I'll do 1 mob at a time lol", I said helps if you pop anything after Superbolide there's more than 1 CD says he's a WAR main and knows how to play GNB, i'm like me too dude it was my first 80.

We get into it a bit and then he just leaves where we get another GNB who knew how to use more than 1 CD, didn't forget tank stance and the DRG AoE'd after the BRD said can you AoE then the DRG says "oh yeah I don't got TP sorry lol" which is fine new xpac. I comm'd the DRG he did well and AoE'd and everything after that.
