Only if I get to scream " Are you my Nhaama " at Y'sthola. :P

I would totally throw myself at his crystal-laden body.

At this point I think the original post may need to be amended because the "mild" spoiler warning in the title... probably isn't.
(Have learned from previous experience: never label something linked to a major spoiler as mild, even if it technically is on its own... discussions wander.)

There's a dialog option to tell Yshtola "Yes mother" and she jokes that she'll have to spank you if you do that again.
I'm absolutely content with that and my massive Aymeric romantic tensions in Heavensward and the end of Stormblood.

Endgame spoiler.
The Exarch seems to be awakening himself at the Source, so his younger self will most likely tag along the following patches.
Don't know if he's really doing it. I think it's more that he speaks with himself. But I have to touch all of the devices in the Crystal Twins to get the information there. Maybe there is something which explains the awakening better. Cause I think he awakened cause of the activation of the tower and then he opened the door (which others couldn't).
And awakens his younger self so soon wouldn't be wise, I believe, cause that makes the time-paradox maybe more than a problem.
Although we could ask the older version how the tower works so there is no need for a long sleep. Hmmm...
But we will see.![]()

Right here is the important part. So basically OP wanted an option. Not an THIS IS WHAT MUST BE IN THE GAME FOR EVERYBODY TO CLICK ON BECAUSE I SAID I WANT IT.Honestly I'd be fine with this as long as 1) not the only character we have the option to flirt with 2) basically Dragon Age system where you can opt in or out of any romance, and if you do opt in you get cutscenes/exchanges you otherwise wouldn't.
That way no one opposed to romance with an NPC has to do it while people who do want romance with an NPC can go to town with an NPC of their choosing.
Also, for people who are D: because they don't read certain dynamics as romantic--part of the beauty is you have room to interpret as long as you don't opt into romance. Ultimately the way you interpret exchanges with your character is up to you based on the general dialogue, and we all have wiggle room. As long as romance is an option and not a mandate, nothing has to change that. People can read the same moments in different contexts/connotations, and that's okay.
So many people are like ugh gross no please don't add it, when it wouldn't make any changes to their gameplay, except that their mouse would highlight it for the .0002 seconds it would take to bypass it and get to another option.
Ya'll astound me sometimes.
Do or do not, there is no try.

I really wouldn't mind, tho SE really gives us some underlying romantic tension with male characters so far. And I am so in for it. And they should do it with female npcs more as well, there was some moments with Lyse in Stromblood but I think we can all agree that it should be more. I mean Crystal Bae, Aymeric, Haurchefant and even Zenos and Estinien with some wishful thinking, we are blessed by hot guys who seem to be a little more interested in the WoL... and I'm okay with that and some optional flirting.

Rather have Raubahn or Arenvald, to be honest.
♥ Baby, tell me, what's your motive? ♥
