Player housing..yeah you can compare it to Mog Houses, only there will be external designing as well.
this is most excellent. I dont care about stats customization is still nice.
Best news of the year so far!Howdy all! Sorry to necro-bump this thread from November, but I thought it would be a nice place to drop some hot information regarding magitek armor!
The development team is planning to make it possible to obtain magitek armor via a challenging quest related to the Garleans. From what I hear, it will not be something that is easy to obtain!
For those of you interested in customizing your magitek armor, you will be happy to know that the development team is looking into this, but they are heading in the direction where it will not affect stats.
This is pretty exciting if you ask me and I hope you are looking forward to it!
Snurble, out!
Will it be FFVI style of magitek armour? I hope the magitek armour is not a silly totem/nut drop thing or ridiculously low drop rate to obtain. Make it a really challenging fight with a 100% drop for everyone.

LOL cash shop! SE's way to tell their player how they appreciate them... pull the carrot and empty your pockets $$$
And to those who support it: you are kicking yourselves. -- We just need to sit back and laugh at people with cash shop items.
(Marvelous economics IQ test!)
I am HOPING TO GOD, that people actually read this before complaining that it's hard... Like ifrit...
SE's versions of "Hard" is not what the community consider "Hard", so take that reference as a light breeze, take the 2 primal battles for example, both no longer hard in anyway and both easily done right away. Even without the rez method in Moogle people were defeating him with ease and SE said this was going to be tough lol They also said that the Moogle fight would be harder than Ifrit and everyone is like "nope".
The only thing that makes them "Hard" in some sense, is you might get very unlucky and have to kill them 5000 times before you get what you want.
I also think that if it doesnt affect stats, is anyone ever gunna wear it lol, like the Kabutos, hardly anyone wears them because they're useless just look fancy.
What kind of MAGITEK are we talking about here?
If it is the big thing that destroyed by moggle. Wouldn't it too big to roaming around the land with that? Wouldn't many of that ruin atmosphere?
I prefer more of FFVI battlesuit that can fight. So it is not too big.
FFXIV : ARR all instance boss gameplay video can be found here..

Er, this is SE we're talking about, they don't have concept other than a horribly low drop-rate with huge competition with everyone else trying for the drop.
When has SE EVER created a 100% drop-for-all of anything that mattered?
If you weren't so off putted by the Japanese in the live letters you'd realize they're indeed referring to the VI Magitek style, unless they designed something even more personalized.
(They showed the concept artwork that looked exactly like the FFVI version which I think are in the PDFs as well)
