    For those who bought SHB on Amazon

    So Amazon.FR is screwing me over with the full SHB code and not giving it to me.
    Bought SHB on the release date ( July 2nd )
    I got a pre order code instead of the full game code
    I paid no mind since SE Reps said that the EA for SHB would be extended until 5th July to let the sellers send the code in the coming days.

    5th July arrives, no code.
    I sent an email to their support ( We are looking into it, we will contact you as soon as possible ) that was on the 4th July.
    Spoke with them on live chat, same thing.
    So here I am, spent 35€ just to get 2 pre order items and almost reaching lvl 60 to be able to use a SHB just for a few days.

    THANKFULLY, I didn't even managed to reach any SHB content, because if I had my account would be locked at the time of this post and still locked until Amazon sorts their mess.

    So for anyone who bought SHB code from Amazon.
    Did you get your code?
    If I ask for a refund and buy from SE store I won't get my FF14 account banned for " chargeback " correct? Since I used a pre order code there.

    I bought mine from Amazon Digital back on April. Go the Preorder code 2 days later. Then for the actual Expansion code, got it on July 2. This is Amazon NA thou so.

    Did you check on the Amazon website under My Account->Digital content and devices->Digital games and software? I know those are the English instructions, might be different on your Amazon, but check in there if you haven't already. They might've put the codes in there and the E-Mail didn't go through.

    Same with me. They did give me a scare with the initial email though as it mentioned the mac version instead of pc, but the correct version was shown in the area that DragonFlyy mentioned.

    Contact them via live chat again. They can escalate your case to someone that handles digital codes, and they should issue you your new code right away.
    (I had to do this to get my early access code.)

    After talking with them, they said tomorrow they will send me an email.

    Wow that is horrible service. Sounds like they really screwed up and sent you a Preorder code by mistake. I'd cancel my order with them. You should be able to because they haven't sent you the code yet. If there is a chageback, it would actually just be Amazon giving you a refund, it would be between you and Amazon, so need to worry.
    Then buy the game from SE store or PSN.

    Sorry you're going through this hassle.

    I would be calling them everyday until they get it too you. If that unfortunately fails Like the poster above me said, cancel the order and get a refund if you can, then buy from the SE Store/PSN depending on your platform you use.
