But yeah like I mentioned that maybe its a good decision lore wise to get rid of old Minfilia since she lost the value to the story long ago. I just got too emotionally attached to her and her unfair fate and been storing a fate that someday they will revive her that this reveal was like a fatal blow to me. Cant get myself to progress my main story anymore after that.

And yes, you mean its not selfish to spit upon wishes of those who wishes nothing more than to see her again? Ones that love her and care not about her duty? Thancred, F'lhaminn, other Scions? I think its way more selfish to do this to them.
Conversely, for Minfilia to make a “proper” return, she would have had to snuff out the life of Ryne in order to do so. I think the story made it clear that they understood her decision to not essentially take the life of another girl to further her purpose, but rather give Ryne the power of the Oracle as well as the power over her own future. Honestly, it’s the best thing Minfilia could have done.
