Ironically, yes. XD At least Squall's. Haven't really seen the others yet.
I went back into the game, put on my Squall glamour and inspected the blade closer. It really seems to be smaller than I remember. Especially after I put some hours into Dissidia NT recently. The blade doesn't feel... weighty enough. I'm not sure what would be optimal. Maybe a 10% size increase, so it feels just right?

I took the images from the friend above me, rotated and adjusted the size of the image so the barrel and the trigger section would be in close size to each other and here is the result.
It indeedhas blade shorter by about 18-20%, and handle a little bigger which doesnt really matter since its the blade that is most important

Yeah, the Squall's gunblade in XIV does look smaller; especially with the evidence from the images above. Just needs a resize and a bit of polishing, too in order to make the gunblade look less like a toy.
Seriously, XIV's version looks like a toy gunblade when you get a good look at it. It just doesn't have that nice metal look to it that Squall's gunblade has.
It is a bit smaller but the size doesn't make it look like a 'toy' to me. Maybe the texture could use some work but calling it a toy based on the size alone doesn't quite land for me.
I hope they'll also be able to adjust how we grab the handle of the blade. I'm happy that they put it into the game, but there are just a bunch of very minor flaws, that makes it not 100% satisfying to wield.
