Why? I mean, he's been up front about the fact he's doing sponsored reviews (and he doesn't pull punches just because he's sponsored). But why should answer to a bunch of internet people throwing accusations at him? It is possible he genuinely likes BDO. It would be like saying that MrHappy is being paid under the table by SE to defend FFXIV. Why would he bother wasting his time defending himself against such obvious lies?

I watch MrHappy and as a viewer Ill say he has defended them but he has also dug his talons into them about things but in a respectiful way.

So this reviewer skipped Heavensward and complains there's no story. Skipped leveling a dps, didn't get one to 60 even and complains DPS is useless so he boosts scholar lol. Then he goes and says the game is boring after skipping leveling (when their job as a game reviewer is to play the game) and he says playing final fantasy 14 is "like taking off fingernails". He does all of this as Shadowbringers launches to be relevant and get some views / ad money. Pathetic. They're not even in an fc, who are these people he talked to that keep saying it's only fun at end game lol

What is so grindy about ffxiv? The glamour grind is optional and you dont have to do it.
In BDO you have no choice, if you dont grind you are on the lowest level of the food chain, which basically destroys pvp balance between players all together and the game itself becomes a pithole for money later on.
Its being called a BAD game for a reason, mainly due to the nature of the stats scaling to the ilvl, the more ilvl you have in BDO the more stats you get per 1 point and this is turning it into the complete clown fiesta, where you cant catch up with the oldest or richest players on a server like at all. A combat, graphics and etc means literally nothing if the main point of this game PVP is flawed to the core and unbalanced, even classes are not balanced let alone players progression which is almost impossible to do without spending money on it. You need at least 200$ to play this game effectively and still pay a pretty expensive sub for additional bonuses, so economically you wont get behind everyone.

Yet this "reviewer" harps on FFXIV's grind which is markedly less monotonous and eventually ends after a reasonable amount of time invested.

i like how he didnt say he skip ARR or he skip SB but straight saying HW. as if he knew that HW story is the best of all FF14 arc so he going to say it to trigger a lot of people.
