Currently finished all combat content, and I agree with OP. Was tempted to record my solo instances to demonstrate how dull the fights were on SCH. Chain, DoT, hit broil for 30s. White mage at least has presence of mind, assize, misery and thin air, AST has buff cards and damage cards. Meanwhile we’re just here hitting broil III for the entire duration of fights, making every combat instance miserable.

Already doing large pulls without GCD heals, what was the point of removing SCH’s dps abilities? SCH felt good because of its ability to weave in everything consistently, while WHM was actively encouraged to commit the cardinal sin of GCD heals with its flower mechanic. AST can still weave on every GCD, WHM’s big DPS ability only neutralizes the cost of spending three GCDs healing- what was the goal? Nothing has been achieved here.
