Well, the fact that he has more dislikes than likes, I think its clear to say people don't agree.

I still like his video's though, they're funny.
But FFXIV clearly isn't his type of game, though I honestly take offense to him saying the story is shit lmao. But to each their own XD

From watching a lot of video's in the past, its clear he prefers a spammy 111111111118234111111 fast GCD or action MMO's. Why he likes BDO so much.

Overall His points were quite BS.
He's just shamelessly bashing on the game he clearly doesn't like and skipping almost everything good about it. Like he skipped to SB and still thinks the game is slow, there is no hope and I have no idea why he keeps trying. For Views probably but he isn't making money with that amount of dislikes.

Hahaha, what is he talking about? As far as I know he is a unintelligent player, he skip everything he can in order to bore himself even more. He's the LAZY peon after all. I really dislike he's videos, as they are always what any people can initially see with their bare eyes without ANY what so ever depth of information. I'm glad I unsubscribed from him so long ago.

Agreed, it's perfectly fine to dislike a game. SE is never going to please everyone. But if someone is going to give a review it'd probably help if they knew what they were talking about. And TheLazyPeon clearly does not. This video makes himself look bad, not the game or SE.

If he's playing a game and dislikes it - it's fine. Move on. It makes no difference to mine or your enjoyment of the game.
Anyone can make a YouTube video. That's the point.

I disagree with about 95% of what this dude said and pretty sure he has some bias on the game which seems present in his delivery.

However, I will admit one valid complaint he made was the new player leveling experience. For me the real lull of the story telling was the questline going to Titan and alil after. It picks up getting to Garuda and begins to take off from there.

They should clean up the quests alil bit, maybe add some more voice acting, but also reward enough exp to level based off the MSQ up to 50 as well as add gear coffers to the quests (which iirc, they are currently working on)

They've acknowledged that those issues exist and are working on them so hopefully that would hit soon.

Other that that, this dude is dead wrong and he should be ashamed for such a half ass review.

What I am saying is this isn't a proper review, and this YouTuber obviously didn't do anything but mess around, and do story. He didn't review aspects of the game. It is a 'lazy' review, in my opinion. A proper review should encompass the full scope of the game.

I could make a Youtube now saying anything on any subject ever. And it makes zero difference to anything. If he doesn't like the game - he doesn't like the game. Find a video of someone who does to reassure yourself if that's what you need.

He's not wrong: when your first starting out, the game will kind of Bore you to tears. FFXIV has a slow startup, I dont blame anybody who can't deal.
Lving Process is pretty grindy at first to, I won't overlook that.
But I couldn't disagree with him more that people (or most people with how he states it) just buy their way through the story to skip doing it. Heck we didn't even get story skips until Stormblood, and People Love the crap out of Heavensward. So yeah, this guy is entitled to his opinion, but I hate that he tries to sound like he speaks for everyone while doing it with a condescending voice.
And he just bought his way through to avoid doing anything....this guys opinion; while allowed to have it, is not worth going off of.
Im over this guy.

I feel bad for all the ppl who were thinking of trying FFXIV but gave it a pass after watching his review.

Fake news. He's just perpetuating fake news... and he's lousy at it.

Trust me, there is absolutely no need to worry about him ...nor give his video any legitimacy. A simple glance at his video will underline the fact that this stunt has blown up in his face... the dislikes already outnumber the likes. Plus, his timing for releasing the video is just too convenient.

Besides, I've been skimming over his channel for a few years and have never liked the guy because he rarely gives critical essential insight into most of the MMOs or games that he reviews.

I knew this was lazypeons video without even clicking the link. Hes a joke and always has been. Hes burned himself out with all the F2P MMOs and WoW clones that hes forgotten the RPG aspect existing in a MMO.


He went into FFXIV trying to rush to the endgame like he does every MMO without trying to understand that FFXIV is in a different league with it being heavily story driven.


The like to dislike ratio should be a clear indicator of the quality of that video.
