SCH won't have any problem in savage raids performance wise, it's pretty powerful.

There will be a problem in raids. Because other 2 healer job’s first pick partner won’t be SCH especially in the early periods when everyone is still updating their IL. It’ll be WHM/AST all the way because of both healing and dpsing potential. And MP managements too. Other roles doesn’t care about the aetherflow problem. They just want the healer to heal in the right time and dpsing the other times. WHM is simply stronger in DPSing and pure healing. And AST can barrier as well as buff the PT more frequently than SCH.

I'll be very very surprised if noct AST is anything like being competitive with SCH tbh
