It's more likely that some network backbone provider has equipment issues.And before you say that my character is the problem, my character I have played since 1.0? That has thousands of hours behind it, and hundreds of dollars? You should probably think who on who is responsible for the data integrity of their game, because I cannot control that and have spent hundreds of dollars, probably thousands considering my continued subscription and whatnot.
So yeah, if my character data is an issue, then it's the company's problem. And they're incompetent at best in thst case.
Isps don't set up good routes because for most of the internet, low latency isn't necessary. It let's them save money and be lazy.
As someone who works for an ISP, I really wish I could say you're wrong. Instead, I'll just say this....
