Healer here, not liking GNBs Invun

From my experience healing, I've often popped an ED or Bene right when the tank is about to die... and they've died anyway because the server recognised their death before my heal, but the heal still goes on cooldown.
So frankly... if you're leaving it that late to heal anyway (like I have) then be prepared to have that heal wasted.
At least the tank isnt dying.

I call my Superbolide the Healer Heart attack button, especially when I mass pull and let me health drop to 50% before I use it.

Extra points if it was the first pull in the dungeon.

I have only used it twice so far in legitimate circumstances and it worked out somehow.

I've only used 'bolide after im dropping below 10kish HP.

the only healer thats helping me up from then is WHM with bene. and if theyre waiting that long to use it to where i could waste the full heal with bad timing, then... im sorry, you were cutting the how low can you go game FAR too close, buddy.

That said, time is an eventuality, but I'm proud to say my patience hasnt met this particular situation yet. So... I think having a faster holmgang is quite handy.

Not to say you're bad in particular, but it seems it's more of a player/communication problem than a mechanical one. Granted, there's plenty of bad Gunnys being rather irresponsible with their invuln (like myself, on purpose), but considering the fact that they both don't take damage during the window, nor do they immediately die if you don't put them to full, Superbolide is quite friendly to unprepared healers.

The worst invuln meme is using Living Dead and knowing the WHM has bennies up, and you watch him cast Cure 1 twice and go back to Holy spam.

I love it, but it does speak to the terrible person in me. I will be macroing mine to not give people a heart attack and use it when necessary like on other tanks.

Except in the case of friends healing, I have some pay back to make, I’ll have a non macro version for them to use at inappropriate moments, this is following the rescues at inappropriate moments and playing chicken with my health when I tank.

Doesn't help that Superbolide is also seemingly bugged. Apparently your HP goes to one before the invuln effect, so it's possible to get server ticked and die.

Honestly, as a healer I like it. Because at least when they DO drop to 1hp I'm like "oh okay. Superbolide" Like. when I see that exact number I know it's a pretty good chance they are invincible.
