No issues prior to early release, now game crashes

my game has crashed about 4 times in the past 90 minutes. Only twice did it pop up with the message:

"An unexpected error has occurred. Exiting FINAL FANTASY XIV. 2019-06-21_10:38

Not sure what is going on, if it's just congested servers forcing the game to crash or if there was a corrupted download during the 5.0 patch. Either way, I would really like some help!

Same problem and it seems many others are also going through the same. I am just glad im not in it alone.

On Desktop and ran into the same problems on both DX111 and 9.what give it was running fine yesterday why now?

Also running desktop and also cannot get 11 or 9 to work. 9 will give me an error message and 11 will crash without error message.

I did two things and one of them must have worked (so far). I have Avast and made sure that Do Not Disturb was added to FFXIV so that no pop-ups would occur. The second thing I did was revert back to Direct X 9. However, testing this I did have to leave a party (was this causing an issue?). I'm also from Brynhildr but traveled to Coeurl to dungeon run with a couple of friends. Not sure if any of this is relevant, I just wanted to add what I was doing during the time of the crashes to see if anything else could have been the cause.
