If this isn't resolved at least by the end of the early access period, I'm afraid I'll be doing the same. This is not an acceptable "mitigation" for an obscure exploit that no one has heard about before yesterday.I have now cancelled my subscription and will not be buying Shadowbringers until this is fixed.
Final Fantasy XIV was the only online game I've played that actually runs at high frame rates like a modern game should, and I refuse to play it at 90fps. My 240hz monitor is unable to display refresh rates bellow ~165hz well, causing severe pixel inversion, making the experience not enjoyable. I will be watching for patch notes which state that this cap has been removed.
