my first impressions of new DRK

After about 8 minutes on the new DRK, the following is my initial impression: "this feels like a warrior, but with different colors." They have basically the same burst phase, the same/similar resource generation rate, and same defensives. I came to this conclusion on a target dummy, so I'll try to fight something that hits back and see if my opinion changes.

Now that Abyssal Drain is on a 60 second cooldown, what's the general dungeon mob aoe combo at level 70? Flood of Darkness is great, but it doesn't heal.

I didnt, i hated it.
Now DRK feels more like Stoormblood paladin, more buttons to press there.

if you didn't play optimaly then you can't say we press more buttoms, it's like a dragoon making comparations when he don't even bother to activate dragon blood.

I’m glad you liked spamming dark arts I really do. I however enjoy shb dark far more then sb. If I had to rate the iterations I’d say hw-shb-sb. Not saying it’s perfect now but sb dark can die in a fire

If anything we press less buttons. The job feels a tad bit slower. Not sure if thats a good thing. I will try GNB and compare, but most people loved DRK because of the fast paced combat style

glad you enjoy it, but on my opinion i will rather spam the same oGCD that the same GCD, at least it's more smoother and don't need a copy paste mechanic from another job, HW>SB>>>>>>SHB for me sorry.

I'm really enjoying shb Drk that is really all I have to say. Sb drk was great I feel all 3 iterations were unique in their own right but shb drk feels a lot more engaging to me personally. HW>SHB>Sb for me.

At level 70 the dark knight is an abomination. Nothing more nothing less. i never ever see a class so thoroughly raped of everything.

Initial impressions is that i do not hate it. which is telling. the only real difference seems to be is dark arts is now a damaging ability, and has an AOE version. Delirium is a underwhelming pile of garbage, as expected. blood weapon exists.

I think i could survive two years with the current kit, but it still has a lot of room for improvement.
