The thing with Dark passenger, damage wasn’t the problem it was how much MP was Required to use with little in return.Salted earth got the dark passenger treatment got nerfed into oblivion so it can be removed without too much fuss.
Qiuetus became the aoe spam skill for our NEW THRILLING AND ABSOLUTELY BELOVED DELIRIUM THAT'S DEFINITELY NOT SOMETHING WE SHOULD BITCHING ABOUT BECAUSE FINALLY WE ARE CLOSER TO WHAT EVERY TANKS SHOULD ASPIRE TO BE
Personally for me it was the fact it had a CD and a MP cost. Should of been one and not both.
------------
Abyssal is kinda lame now, but they also removed Warriors Steel Cyclone heals too so all the fun DRK's had in HW and WAR's in SB are gone.
Dark Passenger's Blind was a form of light mitigation when used on packs in groups. Just that it had poor synergy with Blood Price
I'm gonna miss Dark Passenger... ='(
"Deals unaspected damage with a potency of 300 to all enemies in a straight line before you.
Additional Effect: Grants Darkside, increasing damage dealt by 10%
Duration: 30s
Extends Darkside duration by 30s to a maximum of 60s.
Shares a recast timer with Edge of Shadow."
This is a description for a DPS skill or for a tank skill ? because if I should pick a class to attach it it would be dps 10 times out of 10.
Dark passenger was actually something that a tank should have, damage AND a defensive secondary effect for taking less damage
you don`t wanna that anymore, you want to pop TBN in big pulls to get that free flood of shadow.
The salted Earth super nerf is questionable yes but it does not compare with the dark passenger nerf. The mp cost made DP really hard to use while Salted Earth is a oGCD with no cost, so still will have uses in single target and mobs rotations.
Also you guys commplain a lot and nobody is talking about the big buff in the cave and split.
