That's too bad.
I would love to have read that. Would you type that out for me again? 2 pages minimum, MLA format if possible, and works cited included. I'll be sure not to curse in the next post.
Lastly, don't bro me, cause you don't know me.

‘It’s a rare occurrence, like a double rainbow. Or like someone on the internet saying, You know what? You’ve convinced me I was wrong.’ – Michael, ‘The Good Place’
I feel like the general stance for everyone here is "We want DRK to be good, but we also want it to be fun/different than the others". At least, I want to believe that's everyone's stance on this, whether they like ShB's DRK or not now, I think it still stands as the purpose/goal of this thread and most of it's comments regarding DRK's changes.
I'd say that it probably had more to do with it being mechanically interesting to play...but we might have the answer on that in a few months, since DRK is apparently very well placed on the DPS scale.
Y: I usually compare FFXIV with a theme park, but the Forbidden Land of Eureka won’t be a place where everyone would want to go. For example, there are people who don’t want to go to horror houses because they don’t see the point in getting scared on purpose. For example, on a date, the boyfriend might want to invite the girlfriend to go the horror house, but the girlfriend just doesn’t seem to find it fun. In other words, it’s not like everyone wants to go to the horror house, but there are people who just love the adrenalin rush they get from it. Think of Eureka as something like that.
They had to nerf something in order to give something cool in 70-80 bracket.
I really wish they would have repurposed salted earth into a potent single target dot at the very least. Its useless compared to what it was. At least that would give use something to do.
Side note - does the accumulation of gauge seem off to anyone else? Outside of BW, on a 60 sec recast, it does seem odd that WAR gets more than enough gauge to fire off a fell cleave every two of their 1-2-4 or 1-2-3 combos but DRK needs to do three combos in order to get off a blood spiller. Yes, I know they have onslaught and upheaval for gauge spenders too but but it seems offset. At least allow DRK to break even and make souleater give 25 Gauge instead of 20. At least that would break up some of the monotony.
Those combo also make us build MP (That also regenerates over time), that we use for other big hits not that low compared to Fell Cleave, so I thinks it's appropriate.Side note - does the accumulation of gauge seem off to anyone else? Might as well just deleted Salted Earth and put that potency somewhere else. Same for Abyssal Drain as it being put on such a long timer.
I am also upset that TBN no longer provides blood but instead Dark Arts.
