There was a facepaint given during one of the all saints wake events a few years ago.

All Saint's Wake (2014) it seems. I started playing in Feb 2015 so I missed it.

Is that really it?
It would be nice if they did add more as reward options in 5.0 then.

The Great Hunt Extreme cant be unsynced, which means I messed up by waiting for ShB to farm it since a lot of tank self heal is getting nerfed.

Uhmmm. What is the sense in having self heal, reduced or not, in Great Hunt EX, if on second phase healing skills don't heal you..?

Technically it'll be even easier for tanks since they'll have their def and hp bonus from traits now with no damage penalties...

So even for solo play there's absolutely no point on using poor Titan-egi now. Might as well delete the poor guy and replace him with Shiva/Ramuh/Leviathan-egi at this point.

Earthen Armor's(Titan's Egi-Assault I) actually pretty strong. It's a slightly weaker Manaward with two charges, which is kind of important in raid scenarios since SMN was the only job without some way to mitigate damage. He's also been pretty useless as a tank for years, since his enmity bonuses haven't kept up with SMN's increased burst and his aggro gets reset if you summon a demi-primal.

Yeah, that's why I'm waiting to farm it with my Gunbreaker. Already cleared it so that part is out of the way.

iirc the 1st ARR halloween event had a facepaint as a reward. Its a little bat on your cheek.

I wouldn't mind more facepaints as rewards tho :>

This is my favorite face paint and I always wear it. I just wish they were more face paint options and this with obtainable for people who missed it.

The reason they stated was that it interfered with the new AI pathing system. Which is completely absurd and they have no relation at all. One is server side and has to do with their coding and processing; the other is client side and has to do with the person's hardware. That answer is so absurdly dumb it's insulting.

I mean, it's possible the trust AI calculations are done client-side...

New Game+ and Restoration of Ishgard are 5.1 or later. Bummer but I guess makes sense.
