Three Ilm Knights, One Thousand Malm Road
To be honest until they rework that entire materia mixing thingymajig with Mutamix, any materia I get that I don't need just ends up being sold either to an NPC or on the MB anyway so i seldom see the scene. There is so much potential with this mixing but still nothing seems to be done, like I remember Grandia having Egg mixing stuff that was fun but that's probably not going to happen there huh.
C-can someone help me understand what's going to happen to LEVELLING titan? I rely on him to keep from getting overly squished by mobs that take about 150 Ruin 2's to kill, but it looks like I take all his aggro now or something? I mean I know its not raid-important or anything but still...? I'm sorry I don't entirely understand all the info.

The action Egi-Assault I turns into Earthen Armor, granting the Summoner a barrier equal to 20% of their maximum health. Both Egi-Assault I and II have 2 charges.C-can someone help me understand what's going to happen to LEVELLING titan? All level 80 job quests have the requirements to complete MSQ ShadowBringers
Does this mean we have to do the final boss before we get our level 80 skill?Players must first complete the job quest "Raising the Sword," the level 80 tank role quest, and the main scenario quest "Shadowbringers"
i dont think so
we probably just get our lvl 80 skill by level up now
i do remember them saying they didn't want the Job quest to take you away from MSQ this time

So that's a ridiculously huge nerf, like...catastrophic-grade by comparison (at least at my current level, I obviously don't know how it changes in the future). So much for all those FATE's I was running lol.
Alrighty thank you very much.

Later on, Titan Egi just didn't/doesn't hold aggro well enough to keep things off the tank, and with Bahamut, he loses the aggro he has entirely. This is, as a whole for the better later, but I can see it having potential issues early, especially if they forget to change the ACN job quest that basically required it.
This is one of my favorite changes, as I may have many tens of thousands of combines in the near future. We never have to watch that damned goblin's cutscene more than once ever again
Aha, Titan-egi, yes, that's the thing I had wondered about last night and forgotten. Agree wholeheartedly with the leveling concern. The barrier... I'll be optimistic and hope it's sufficient. Maybe it's tuned well. But. It also doesn't sound really quite the same as wee SMN (or even Arcanist with Topaz) effectively safe from harm while the pet takes a beating. Plus, surely we've all got stories of tanks dropping or otherwise failing, and Titan stepping up to lead a party through without.
Also makes me curious about the Chocobo companions. You've had the option to level their tanking tree, any of that going to get tweaked, or do these changes not apply to that case? (obviously they never tweaked the Accuracy buffs in the tree when that stat was removed, so it wouldn't surprise me if they negated 1/3 of the skill tree without caring to do anything about it)
