    Well.... The First Brood are all Midgardsormr's kids. So they (and all the dependents of the First Brood) are also decedents of Midgardsormr...

    And in places where they (The first brood.) don't exist, like the first, evolution would still produce something like them. Not all dragons HAVE to come from Midgardsormr.
