Forget Bahamut. According to the trailer we may be going to fight Hydaelyn herself. That's the real big deal.

Doubtful. Midgardsormr arrived to the Source after the split, so there can't be any alternate doubles and such. No Midgardsormr on First = no dragons... unless one of his children found their way there.

Il Mheg has some weird draconid moth monsters, but there's no reason to think that Azdaja and/or Vrtra made their way to other shards.

After seeing everything Nidhogg's eyes were capable of, let alone being near limitless aether batteries i find it hard to believe that Allag doesnt have Bahamut's eyes stored somewhere being used to power some Azyz La type machinery (probably in a base somewhere in Mericydia)

Chunks of Meracydia were used to create part of Azys Lla. I doubt they would have built a base on a continent that they tore apart to create a dragon zoo.

But that's what had me think that maybe one of the First Brood travelled to another Shard. If Midgardsormr is able to travel through the rift, then surely it's possible for the first brood to do the same.
What we know about dragons in FFXIV lore is that they're technically an alien race, starting with Midgardsormr. The First shouldn't have dragons.

Ethys uploaded Lore Tour of Il Mehg this morning, and there most definitely are dragons on the First. The B rank there is a dragon.
