something tells me your one of those people who will never be happy, and thats okUm, the game has been out over a year now and there hasn't been a single new job or level cap increase. I have no problem with them charging for their product, but I think they may have kept more people had they waited until 1.21 when we will at least have some new jobs and more to do than what was released in the last patch. Not to mention, the crafting situation right now is a joke. Half of the recipes in the game now are new ones sitting on top of a foundation of old ones that are STILL coded into the game.
Also, you seem to have no idea what this is costing them, so to make the comment that they will lose investors in light of the fact that this game has done all the damage to its investors that its going to do seems foolish. If they weren't willing to do whatever it takes to fix this game and keep their clients happy, then they should never have officially announced that they were "WIlling to do whatever it takes to make FF XIV a success".
this game is optional to play for a reason, no one is forcing you![]()

I won't ever be happy because I don't want to pay a monthly fee for an MMO that I could do everything in from scratch in about a month? The total lack of content at this point in time, as well as SE's refusal to fix basic social functions like party search and the linkshell problems in a timely manner is the reason I don't want to pay. That certainly doesn't mean the game doesn't please me, or that I hate it. I adored this game before it ever came out, I defended it time and again for over a year publically before realizing its going to take a considerable amount of time to bring this game up to the standards I came to expect from playing FFXI. The fact that it isn't anywhere near those standards RIGHT NOW is the reason I don't want to play. My support for the game for over a year makes me feel as if I am a little entitled to critisize what they want to start charging me for, as does my initial 80$ investment. No one wants this game to thrive more than I do (except maybe TonyMOntana) but just because I dont put blinders on along with my douchebag dragon hat and blindly accept w/e they want to do with my money given the current condition of this game doesn't mean I won't ever be happy. Get the game to a point where there is literally so much for me to do that I don't know where to begin, and I will happily pay a monthly fee. But throwing stupid holiday festivals while taking over a year to fix basic social functions when the game is turning into a ghost town isn't my idea of a wise investment.
