It's always "we will see in the future" or "please do'nt think about it too much" or "thank for your feedback" or "we are discussing it"...
They don't want to close doors, it's always easier than coming back on what they would have said by the past.

Yoshi-P now knows better than to make statements he doesn't know if he can deliver, because they'll be used for years after the fact (re: housing situation). IF development would start on the missing genders post 5.0 (and my guess is STARTING on 5.1 if we're seeing a 6.0 release), they wouldn't let us know they were coming until the last or second to last Fan Fest before 6.0. For PR reasons as well as to build hype. After all, it's much smarter to hype a feature closer to release date than it is to let it simmer then be forgotten for about a year or more.

They rarely give hard Yes/No to anything, playable child like models is a very very rare exception and this is after being here since early ARR, they know there is a decent demand for both genders, they do not want to commit to either decision yet, because of potential backlash for no, for potential not being able to do them if yes. This will be their stance for years you will always get hand waving responses that will seem yes/no/maybe from here on out, ala egi glamours/ open world primals etc etc.

At this point supporting the idea of adding the genders and getting at least 1 question in interviews/live letters about them to show straight up there are people still wanting them is the best route forward from here, excessively demanding will turn people away which will only hurt the chances to show it would be good to add them, this is the big problem as supporters we have to face we have to show we are decent people trying to ask for a major cosmetic to the game, and we want to try and not step on as many toes as possible while doing so.

Man eyebrows are fun, do you like eyebrows? i like eyebrows, so many of my friends who are very reasonable ladies i might add are jealous of my eyebrows because they naturally look good despite me doing nothing to them, its a shame you shave yours i'm sure they would look great if you just let them grow. On the topic of bunnies do they have eyebrows? just curious :P

Very much so, I don't want anyone being spoiled. Thankfully we have hide boxes, but I'd rather not risk someone being spoiled of content. So, if there is an information dump I'd certainly hope anyone who does it is wise enough to use hideboxes and spoiler tags.

Kind of hard to do that when people who don't know you accuse you of having some agenda. But yeah, we should definitely keep our expectations tempered. The initial backlash when no male viera was announced really tarnished everyone's reputation.

I don't care either way if there are genderlocked Races or not. This thread isn't giving me any reason to support your request because it all just seems like people whining that SE isn't giving them what they want. Not really something I want to support.

If there is an actual reason why this should be added, or why its important, I'd love to hear it and then I can actually see if I will support it. But right now I see no reason why I, or anyone else who doesn't care about Genderlocked Races, should support this idea.

Hi you were in my thread as well. Again I'm surprised you don't care about gender locked races. When you play a female Highlander. Which didn't exist in 1.0. If it wern't for people saying "hey we don't like gender locked races" you would never get to play your current race. Think of others and try putting yourself in there shoes.

The OP was made solely to make a request. This thread was made for people to show their support if they would like male viera to be added to the game. This thread was not made to convince anyone of anything, much like threads requesting emotes or furnishing items aren't made to convince anyone of anything.

However, I think people here could politely explain why they personally would like male viera to be added.
The reason I made my request is because I would like to play as one.
